Quote:

INDIANAPOLIS, May 8 (Ticker) -- Indiana Pacers guards Reggie Miller and Jamaal Tinsley have the Miami Heat worried about a whole lot more than Jermaine O'Neal. Miller scored 19 points and Tinsley handed out nine assists as the Pacers rolled an NBA playoff-record sixth straight double-digit win, a 91-80 victory over the Heat. Top-seeded Indiana remained unbeaten in the postseason, opening a 2-0 lead over Miami in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The Pacers have won their six playoff games by an average of 15.2 points. When this series began, the fourth-seeded Heat appeared to be overmatched up front primarily due to the presence of O'Neal, an All-Star power forward who finished third in NBA MVP voting. While limiting O'Neal to 10-of-32 shooting with double-teams, Miami has allowed his teammates to get loose. "It's the same old problem," Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said. "We competed. We worked hard inside ... They just have so many weapons. It's tough." On Saturday, it was Miller who was a point-per-minute man. In 19 minutes, Indiana's elder statesman made 6-of-10 shots, including 3-of-6 from the arc. "This team has evolved to accept their roles," said Miller, the franchise leader in virtually every category. "There will be nights where guys struggle offensively and others have to step up. We have depth; that's what makes us tough to play against." "He's very capable and has a lot left in the tank," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said. Many of Miller's open looks came on deliveries from Tinsley, who played a virtually flawless floor game. He missed his only shot but did not commit a turnover and made three steals. "Jamaal Tinsley played as good a game as he's played all year," Carlisle said. "He had a lot to do with getting the ball to the right people."

Full Story

Indiana is on a roll, winning 6 straight in the playoffs. I am envisioning a sweep against Miami, all in convincing fashion.
