    I would like to see Penny Hardaway as a Grizzlie. Sure, he's not the greatest player, but the love for him in Memphis is overwhelming. For a city of over one million people, Memphis has not really seen many basketball players make it in the pro's. Elliot Perry and Cedric Henderson had okay careers but nothing spectacular. Other than them, Lorenzen Wright and Penny Hardaway are all the city has. Wright is worshiped like a god by Grizzlies fans, because they all watched him for four years at the University of Memphis. I could just imagine what the response would be if Hardaway were to suit up for a game. I feel this will happen someday, maybe when Penny is on the brink of retirement and will settle for a veteran's minimum salary. Either way, it would be very cool to see him as a Grizzlie.
