Well Kobe is listed on NBA 6"6 and in NBA Live 2004 6"7 and in NBA Live 2003 6"6. I know EA Sports can make a mistake but they get those stats from NBA so they dont change. Its kinda odd to me that one season in da game he is listed as 6"6 and the next year 6"7. Ok but back on topic: Is there anyone who knows why this is so?? I heard something that the height is messured with shoes on so that can make a difference. I went a couple of months ago to get my new passport(otherwise i cant travel from Holland to Bosnia where im actually from) They wanted to messure me and i stood there and the girl said i had to take my shoes off. There was a difference of 3cm. Thats about a inch i think.
Yea, but NBA players heights with shoes is what get's kisted, they take both http://www.nba.com/media/bulls/predraft_vitals_03.pdf but they use the with shoes one and they round up.
Isn't it with shoes on and stuff? Than they are 1-2 centimeters shorter than they say on NBA.com in reality then.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting InNETSweTrust:</div><div class="quote_post">Yup, that where it was shown. And regarding Jason Richardson being only 6'2, a JBB member can attest to this. It was Rudeezy, I think.</div> It was warriorsfan93 who posted that pic of him stand next to J-Rich. wf93 stated that he's 6-3 1/2 and him and J-Rich looked about the same height in the pic. Rudeezy was saying that he suprised that he was taller then him. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">if KG doesnt like being called a seven footer he should just list himself as being 6"13 </div> Matter as fact, commentators have said that before. He doesn't like it because 7 footers aren't considered to be the most mobile of players which is true. I guess he doesn't want to associated with Will Purdue and etc ya dig.
If I'm 7+ and I'm as mobile as KG, I would be glad to claim that I'm 7+. That would make me a freak of nature.

Of course he would be considered a freak of nature, but he might not be able to show as much as he shows it now...

Till this day he hasn't bulked up. I don't think it would be mandatory for him to bulk up if they started to list him as 7 feet. But I still say that he's 6-11, it's just that he's the few players that are his actual listed height. Like Scottie Pippen use to be listed at 6-7, but after all those years they started listing him at 6-8. He does look pretty tall though, as well as Richard Jefferson being 6-7. You know that's for real with that huge dome he possess.
Here is what I have heard: Dwayne Wade is really 6'2 1/2 T-Mace is 6'10 Vince is 6'7 1/2 Kobe is 6'10 MJ is 6'7 KG is 7'1 Charles Barkley is 6'4 or 6'5 forget what it was Alvin Williams is 6'4 AI is 5'11 And that DR.J was way taller than the height he was listed as.

Kobe 6'10?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Kobe Krazy:</div><div class="quote_post">hahahahahahahah... Kobe 6'10? </div> Sorry 6'7..or was it 6'8, and this is what I heard.

T-Mac is just keeping it real IMO. Richard Jefferson was saying that VC is 6-5 tops which I believe. Kobe he said that he is 6-6 himself and 6-7 with the fro. He is 6-6, I wish they would measure them in public. I never heard say MJ was that tall, I heard he was more like 6-5 himself, he and Barkley looked about the same height the last time I seen them stand side by side. I really look to see who's taller like an eagle. Barkley himself claims that he's 6-4 1/2. AI I believe.
Jordan actually looked bigger than Barkley.. I think Jordan was 6-6 and Charles more like 6-4 1/2... I think Shawn Bradley is bigger than 7-6... Look at pictures of him standing next to Yao... He's clearly bigger... *Edit* I do believe T-Mac's more like 6-9 or 6-10... The guy's big...
Kobe Bryant is about 6'6 b/c he was standing next to Jordan in a pic and they were about the same height. And T-mac has to be like 6'10 b/c I went to a magic game and they intervied him and gooden, and t-mac had an inch on him from what I saw.

Jason Kapono from 6'6 1/2 all the way to 6'8. I think that was the biggest height differencial with shoes on. Man, I'm starting to believe that T-Mac is over 6'8. Then Mike Miller must be close to 7 feet. I guarentee he's taller then T-Mac.
Vince Carter was listed at 6'7 in his first two seasons, then he was listed at 6'6 since, and it was according to NBA.COM. I know for a fact that Allen Iverson is shorter than 6'0, which he's listed as.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I know for a fact that Allen Iverson is shorter than 6'0, which he's listed as.</div> I think everybody knows that. Remember in college they use to list him at 6'2. Man, he's probaly like 5'10 1/2 techinically.
Dwyane is 6'3.75" and 6'5" with shoes with a 6'10.75" wingspan Caron is 6'5.75" and 6'7" with shoes Lamar is 6'10" and 6'11" with shoes with a 7'6" (at least) wingspan at a camp in 1999, so he may now be 7'0" with shoes in 2004.
