an all-time whiner. Yes, I am not a T'Wolve fan nor a Cassell fan but boy does he whine about every call. You would think he never committed a foul in his life. You are his fans, are you willing to look at his antics in an objective light? That's my inquiry.

yes he complains about obvious calls. But he doesn't get the calls he deserves all the time, and to think that his complaints never have any basis in reality is foolish.

I never said his complaints do not have any basis in reality, its just like that old fable, "Peter crying wolf." You cry every time, no one is going to pay attention, even if it is legitimate. My complaint is as a viewer, I do not want to see somebody whining every single time. Referees make mistakes, but you know what, everyone does, and a referee is no different than a player. Accept the call and move on.

i guess you could call him a whiner, however i would replace the word with competitor. and you can't tell me his 6th foul against kings was legit.. if anyone that foul was on spree. Whining isn't so bad at an nba level i don't think, your doing anything to win the game. If that means tryin to sway some calls your way so be it. You'd be suprised at the ammount of calls that are persuaded to go the home teams way just because of the crowd, so IMO theres nothing wrong with fighting for some calls on the road.. because next time around a player like cassell will get a call or two more thanks to his antics..

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting notMuchgame:</div><div class="quote_post">I wonder how long before Henacy sees this...</div>

Im here [IMG] . And I [IMG] when I see people like the original person who started this post. 1st off Cassell whines because the Refs do not give him the same respect that they give players that have accomplished as much as he has in the league. Tell me one other all-star caliber player that would have gotten 5 fouls on them in the final quarter of a meaningful playoff game.

Besides maybe Rasheed Wallace But he is hated by officials because he tried to attack one of them after a game a few years ago. But other that I dont think any other player would have gotten treated with such disrespect.

Granted some people say he may over act which maybe true. But Reggie been acting for what about 15 years, yet the refs dont show him the disrespect they show Cassell.

And what antics are exactly talking about? Why should what Sammy does on the court offend anybody. Granted him acting like he was holding his jock was a little extra the other night. But that was after helping his team come back from the dead.

Cassell talks alot on the court, always has & always will. Everytime he is talking to the Refs he isnt complaining, he sometime is just expressing the way the situation went down from his view. So maybe the Next time the same situation happens the ref can better understand his point of view.

If Cassell isnt talking, he isnt effective. So T-wolves fan will just have to deal with it. Its help them get 58 wins. And past the 1st round. What is there to complain about?

Cassell has always been a love him or hate him type of player. And this is the 2nd time you have been overly concerned about Cassell so called antics, so its obvious you dont like Sam. But like Sam always says when reports ask him about not getting love from fans. Who Cares?

Ive been watching Sam for about 12 years. And during that time plenty of people whether be coaches, media, George Karl, John Calipari etc, have all complained & tried to change Sam into something he isnt. And they qiuckly learned, Sam dont change for nobody. And I got nothing but love for him for that. So if you can respect what Sam does & how he does it, All I can say is Peace Out Homie, dont watch him anymore because he not changing. Go watch so of you favorite cookie cutter all-stars, who leave lipstick on the refs butts because they get all the calls anyway.

BTW, this is what I think of this topic :thumbsdow

As long as it is not a technical, I love it. Because it shows that he cares. While I don't want everyone to be a whiner like that, I wish more people would care a little more.
