We learned the Steelers are not only for real, but are actually pretty darn dominant. They will be a force. It is tough to beat a team that runs the ball and stops the run, while not turning the ball over.

We learned the Eagles have some serious issues to deal with. First their defense is surrending yards faster than a french general in a war. Second, TO exploding on Mcnabb on the sideline is bound to create some serious issues for this team. Even if both players are over now, they will be asked that question as well as all their teammates for a LONG LONG time.

The Jets are definately has the MOST OVERRATED record. at 6-2 having beaten only San Diego(before they got on a roll). This is a team heading into a killer schedule which right now it seems thier is no way this team is going to survive

The Chargers are for real and the Brees for MVP talk may now officially begin.

The Giants are not for real, and have actually hurt themselves by allowing Warner to start so far. Now manning wont get the valuable playing time and the giants will slowly fade down the stretch but will be too close the rest of the way to bench Warner.

Detroit and Houston are not quite ready for the Big time yet, but next year should be a force.

Parcells needs SOME talent to win, and this team is lacking at some very important skill positions.

Kansas City is only going to win if they outscore thier opponent, and with thier defense that is not going to happen enough to run down san diego and denver.

The great thing about this point of the season is a lot of teams still have a shot at the playoffs but for the most part you can tell who is a pretender and who is a contender.

Everyone has games that are anomolous. They still shutdown your offense and ran all over your defense

Take it from someone who has watched a bad defense for years, the Eagles should be worried. You are getting some good games and good plays, but the plays you are giving up is pretty scary.

The more i think about the jets, the more i think they should be ebtter than they are. They have talent, it just isnt right somehow, something seems to be missing.

The giants have no competition in the NFC so that why they'll make a wild card..... It'll be between them GB, and MAYBE the lions and since both of those teams are in teh same division 3 playoff teams from 1 division is all most an impossibility

There are 3 or 4 teams within 1 game of the giants. I dont know how you define "no competition" but giants arent that good.

I really did not learn anything. I did have several thing reconfirmed.

    1) the Dolphins suck & are on the clock w/ next April's #1 pick
    2) TO is a selfish, whining, jack ass
    3) the Rams are the most exciting 8-8 team in the league

BF1; I hope not. I'd rather have Trestman as interim.

Quite frankly, its partially Jimmy's fault Miami is where they are now. He pretty much convinced/forced/insisted that Wayne hire 'the vanilla one' as his successor.

I don't believe, for a second, that JJ really wants to give up that cushy studio gig for the mess in S Fla?

I was hoping we would get jimmy johnson if we sank to missing the playoffs. bf1, you forget to add something to your thread. That the nfc south is a weak division this year and it could be up for grabs.

Actually if giants had won, i think that would have been an upset. The better team won. The bears will probably finish with a better record than the giants.

Actually, TO wasn't yelling at McNabb. If you watched the postgame interviews, McNabb said TO was trying to calm down McNabb. Look at him screaming again, McNabb looks WAY more pissed than TO. Stop criticizing him so quickly, especially when you don't know what the hell was going on

I am sorry, but this is a NO SPIN ZONE. I am not going to believe other than what i saw with my own eyes. TO was exploding on McNabb, in a way that would not calm down anyone as Donovan just tried to walk away.

Are you serious? That's what happened, they only showed TO yelling, but never showed McNabb yelling. Just accept the fact that TO didn't explode on McNabb, it's not that hard

Of course thats what happened. It is not like TO is the kind of person who would blow up on a teammate or coach, it is not like he has done it before. He was just calming him down by YELLING AT HIM. I know when i get upset i have beef yell at me till i calm down.

I learned that you can be leading the Steelers with 2 minutes left in the game, give the game away....then get stomped by a crappy Bengals team just a couple of weeks later.

I also learned that apparently you have to have someone who can throw the ball, someone who can catch the ball, and someone who can run the ball. Otherwise, you are 3-5.

I learned that anyone can lose at any time. Don't think you're invincible (New England & Philly) because someone is always waiting to take it away from you (Pittsburgh).
