I don't think our problem is at the RB position unfortunatly. We just have to many injuries during the season and at "key" positions usually. How about our QB situation, to me that is the area that needs to be addressed somehow. How many starting QB's have our BEARS had in the past 3-5 years? Way more then we should, that is for sure but enough of our problems it is time to celebrate our big win today over the GIANTS. GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [IMG]

I think the real boost is urlacher being back and the bears are really playing defense. lovie smith has them playing the game that he helpled build in tampa defense, built on turnovers. Thomas jones is still better imo. Thomas doesnt show up every week or he wouldnt of been replaced by jones in the first place. By the way congrats on the win today bears and 4th

Do the coaches not like Anthony Thomas? It seems to me that he gets stuck behind someone early in the year and then puts up 1000+ when he finally gets playing time. He has a great year and then the next year he's number two again.

I was tempted to draft him this year in the final round of all of my drafts because I KNEW this would happen eventually. I'm just surprised it took this long.

Anthony Thomas does 2 things I love in a RB....1)he avgs 4 yards a carry 2)he rarely fumbles....thats the kind of back you build an offense around....

If only Bears agreed. He is unrestricted FA after season I belive. So any team that needs QB and RB should go get A-train and Brees

Its not that i dont like anthony thomas bears. Remember im a michigan slash florida st fan. So we love our former players even tasting nfl success. I just dont think anthony thomas is better then thomas jones. Thomas jones i felt we made a mistake to let him walk for garner. 300 k less jones signed with you. We could of easly made that offer to jones. But then again thats bruce allen and gruden for ya.

I wish the bears and lovie smith much luck and if anthony thomas is the reason the bears are winning games. Then you gotta go with the hot hand. Go blue... your my boy blue.

I want to voice a vote for Thomas Jones here. He has been getting some good fantasy numbers for me and I'd hate to bite the hand that feeds me. (Although, my record is quite shameful this year.) Maybe I'm just giving someone else a chance between my 2 Bowl wins like the Patriots did. Maybe, I'm full of crappity-crap-crap!

I do think Thomas Jones is a better (more gifted) back than the A Train. I do think the A Train was productive for his team last week. He will land a job somewhere. The Dolphins would sure have liked to have a guy like Anthony Thomas "step-up" for them this year.
