<div class="quote_poster">Quoting pidandsid:</div><div class="quote_post">wow, I'm hurt and so is my grape vine. u cats sure have wrote a lot on the matter though so check yourselves before you reck yourselves!!!</div>

what did you expect? of course the thread is going to get replies. hardly " a lot" compared to most threads on this board. one page is hardly "a lot".

but no one was trying to "hurt" you or your "grapevine", its normal for you to feel wack however, when everyone shoots down you and your wack rumour. some dj isnt a grapevine...next time, provide some kind of source, and it wont be considered such a joke

    wont happen.
petrie wants to keep the core members together. i think they might look to free agency to find a big time defender in the off season, but i just cant think of any that are unrestricted free agents after this season that would fit into the kings offence as well.
i dont expect to see any major trades this off season unless its just too good of a deal to pass up.

41#dirk... they'd trade him because he has no game in the season that matters... if they were to trade someone away, which petrie has made clear he does not plan on doing, it should be peja though. they can get good stuff back for him, and probably a better playoff performer.

Although I like Peja, Id have to agree. Id rather see Tmac for Peja. Tmac is more versatile and Anthony Peeler was a bit better in the 3pt category this season if Im not mistaken.

There's a possibility that Peja might get traded for t-mac because he wasn't there when the team needed him the most.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting sportsrock37:</div><div class="quote_post">How can you guys say that this trade would suck for the Kings? No way the Magic would do that unless Weisbrod wants to get his head chopped off, by the Magic fans. Tmac isn't selfish. You guys make it sound like he never passes and is a ball hog. He somehow gets 5-6 apg every year with sorry players around him. He should be getting 1 or 2 more a game if players like Declerq could make a layup/dunk, Hunter would stay in bounds, and shooters could make a shot. He would get about 7 or 8 assists on the Kings. That would be suicide for the Magic. I hope it never gets down to that.

Kings would win it all next year guaranteed if that trade went down.</div>

Obviosly i mean who can stop peja tmac and webber all in one team.

Who in their right mind would trade McGrady for Bibby? This is ludacris and un-true.

No i dont think Bibby could ever go straight up for McGrady but the peja Idea that was mentioned earlier could be a very good trade with a couple of tweeks. Such as Peeler,Wallace, or christie ( since he wont be needed with T there) being involved for one more scrap player form the Magic. But I just dont know if Peja can perform well when a whole teams defense is set to stop his shooting ex. playoffs. so form a Magic standpoint this trade would be horrible. But the kings would be awesome if Webber developed a more of a on the floor game and got back his confidence. With McGrady and a good point gaurd in Bibby to set T mac up. The kings wiould be unstopable

I would get Bibby, because he got allaround game, and is unselfish. in my eyes, tmac is just a showcaser that knows how to score, and doesn't care about anything besides himself> NOT A TEAM PLAYER!
Maybe the bobcats could get him, that would be nice.

I agree i think T mac is selfish also. and a big scorer.Bibby probaly could help the magic alot though.

That just doesn't sound right! Bibby's a solid player but T-Mac is one of the top ten players in the league maybe top 5. If this trade happened the Magic GM should be fired & then put in jail. What's next Brad Miller for Duncan? Sounds like wishful thinking.

TMAC ISN'T SELFISH!!!!!! How many times do I have to say this. 1st off how can someone avg 6 apg with his sorry team if he's selfish? Yes he shoots a lot, but if you say he's selfish, you obviously have never seen him play. He passes and Declerq misses a wide open layup. Steven Hunter steps out of bounds, Our "shooters" brick wide open mid range jumpers. He creates like crazy. If he was on the Kings. I GUARANTEE YOU THAT HE WOULD HAVE AT LEAST 8-9 APG, PROBABLY CLOSER TO 10. I would like Bibby and Peja, but not straight up for Tmac. Tmac is one of the best all-around players in the game.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting pidandsid:</div><div class="quote_post">Bibby for Mcgrady? I heard through the grapevine that the Kings could trade Bibby, play Christie or Jackson at the point gaurd position. Making room for T-Mac. The Contracts work out about right.
The Magic gets an excellent PG which is hard to come by at the moment. T should be able to create shots for Peja.</div>

This would never work out Mike Bibby isnt as good a player is as Tracy....

I doubt that this trade will EVER happen. It doesn't seem very likely, I mean Sacramento would still have bobby Jackson but he can't play a full season after this one. It won't happen - bank on it.

    Bibby stays...so will other KINGS

<font color="Indigo">I must say that I read the SacBee every day...even though I'm not from Sacramento.

I have read several articles...even one w/an interview w/Vlade Divac...and they all seem to point out that the Maloofs and Geoff Petrie will not let any of the KINGS leave! Good news for me...I love them all too much.

So yeah! Bibby stays...CWebb stays...Peja...EVERYONE! [IMG]

Although the Maloofs may let go of Peeler and a couple others...we'll see what happens.

That trade would only work for Orlando if Magic add a contract like howard's to Tracy, and receive Bibby and Brad Miller...

But I doubt Kings would want to loose role players...
