What do you guys think about this game? Predictions? anything?

If the Heat win this game (which I think they will) this is a whole new series!
Pacers better watch out! If you can't handle the HEAT...get out of the American Airlines Arena!

^Heat fans talking trash already??? It's only one game they won. They should savour the moment because it will be their last victory. I didn't even know Heat fans existed out there. I know some Dwayne Wade fans though. [IMG]

My prediction is: Indiana over Miami 84-74

Just what the doctor ordered! More negative thoughts, more doubts, more haters, more disbelief, more disrespect, more "can't" "won't" and more "shouldn't" This is what the Heat feed off. Some people can cruise through the regular season with the best record, cruise through the first 6 games of the playoffs (even winning in double digits), and I'm not saying they are a bad team...quite the contrary...they're awesome...but....BUT...the HEAT aren't supposed to be here. Hmmmm....makes you remember....back not too long ago....a little team called the Marlins.

PS. I am being waaay to optimistic here. But, why not have a little trash-talking fun? Anyway...I have to represent the Heat...being the only Heat fan according to CourtVision.

^Holy you know what. Are you comparing this team to the Marlins? I respect your optimism but I would be surprised if the Heat take one more game away from the Pacers.

Remember the Bucks? That is an example of what happens to teams when playing a powerhouse. Sure they will win one or two games but in the end...they will bite the dust.

VERY surprised right now, aren't you Courtvision?

Could definitely compare them with the Marlins... both were supposed to suck, both rosters are filled with young talent, started the season badly, had a great run after the All Star game, got on the playoffs against all predictions (Marlins were the wild card) and nobody will give them any credit until they started killing giants and the bandwagon got full. Ha!

Wow! Looks like its now a best of 3! That was a great game. CAN YOU FEEL THE HEAT?! Courtvision, there is still room for you to get on the bandwagon.

^I'm sorry but I don't ride such things. This is a new series though but I still don't see it going past 6. Call me ignorant but that is my guy feeling. But the fact is that Miami does play a whole lot better when they are at home. Comparing this team to the Marlins is stretching it. They won't get past Indiana much less Detroit or New Jersey.

Well just by being 2-2 proves every body wrong.
They all been disparaging the HEAT and said that they either will get swept or lose the series 4-1. Well at least we lose 4-2 against the top record team in the NBA.
You must give the HEAT props tho, they are much underdogs but they managed to tie the series. I'm a die-hard HEAT fan and I'm also doubting that the HEATwill get past the Pacers and IF they do, it will be a miracle yes. But i never thought the HEAT willl get 2 games from the Pacers. I give em props.

Wait, I thought Indiana was supposed to be the best team on the East? Best record in the league? Deepest? I don't get the "much less Detroit or NJ". I'd love to play NJ next. The Heat has been very effective against them -imagine the boost that eliminating the Pacers will give them.

Conventional wisdom tells you Indiana will take the series. But it hasn't been the cakewalk they expected.

All the pressure is on the Pacers, they are now tied 2-2 with a very young hungry team. Miami have had a great season and It has can come a time where they have 0 pressure to win this series, they have already surprised everyone by taking 2 games back to back off Indiana.

Pacer fans have been far too over confident heading into this series and each Miami win they have tried to play down by trying

"I don't see this going any further"

the only thing they should be saying right is now

    "Can we survive?"

They still have no answer for Wade, he can do whatever he likes when the ball is in his hands. Wether It's his pull-up mid range jump shot or driving to the basket.

He got to the line 17 times last night, thats a sign of a very good player. When your shot's not on, attack the basket and draw the foul.

Dude I'm the only Pacer fan that has actually been talking trash. You might as well just say my name. [IMG]

You are absolutely right about Wade though. Not even Artest can stop him at home. He was knocking down big shots each time the Pacers tried to start a comeback and I was very impressed to say the least.

BTW how is the sig coming along?

Nah, I'm talking about Pacer fans on many other boards that have been way too confident heading into this series and during it. Even when the Pacers won both the opening two games by double fiqures I knew Miami would win on their homecourt. As I tried tell everyone they get so much energy from their home crowd. He gets them pumped up and always gives them an edge whoever they may play. So to me this series being 2-2 Is not a surprise as I predicted the Heat to win 2 games before the series even started.

Wade is a speical player, he is a nightmare to guard because he can do many things with the ball. If you back off him he will hit the mid range jump shot, If you get too close he will blow past you and most of all he is a good passer, He has the abilty to find the open man. The only thing He's not great at Is his three-point shot but in a few years I expect that to improve and likely become a 38-40% three-point shooter. He is shooting 46% from the floor which is VERY good for a rookie so that part of his game is very controlled.

    As for the sig

Should be ready for today. I will PM it to you.

dude! that sig is awesome! I love it...its the classic underdog situation that we all love. Wade against O'neal...the MARLINS against the evil empire...and now...the HEAT against...anyone? Sigue el Sue?o!

Man, that dunk was so sick I had to inmortalize it. It's not really fair to Jermaine, after all the players that get posterized are the one with the balls to go up and try to block the shot.

It's been fun... I watched the game at a sports bar in Boston, I was the only Heat fan in there (Larry Bird and all) it was great trash talking to everybody and having my team win. I didn't pay for a beer that night.

Props to Courtvision too, it can't be easy being all over the Pacer's forum with that sig. A man of his word.
