After the first four games in the second of this year's playoffs, every series has played for a tie at 2-2. The series have gone from a best of 7, to a best of 3 now. Homecourt has proven to be the difference in 3 out of the 4 matchups, with the Spurs, Lakers, Pacers, Heat, Detroit, and New Jersey all holding down their homecourt. Here's a breakdown of some of the top plays and players in the 2ND round. Top Surprise - Miami Heat -- The Heat have easily been this year's Cinderella team in the post-season. They have defended their homecourt and have pushed the Pacers into a tie. Most people predicted the Pacers not letting this match up go past 5 games. Top Highlight - Dwyane Wade dunking on Jermaine O'neal. For those of you who have not seen it yet click here: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17657 Top Performance - TIE between Kobe Bryant scoring 42 points in Game 4 after spending his day in court. Also Dwyane Wade and the Heat get another award for scoring 14 in the fourth quarter in Game 3. Honorable mention to Jason Kidd's 7th post-season triple double Top Series - Kings vs. TWolves -- Every game has been closely contested and the momentum in the series has switched after each game. The Kings took the early momentum by winning the first game in Minnesota. The TWolves rebounded in game 2 and then got held on in OT to win back homecourt advantage. Top Scorer In A Game - Kobe Bryant -- 42 points Top Rebounder In A Game - Ben Wallace -- 24 boards Top Passer In A Game - Chauncey Billups -- 13 assists
Yeah it's been a really competitive 2nd round. Who would've thought that the Heat would put the the Pacers. They can't be considered a joke now to certain people. The New jersey and Detroit series has been the only series that's tied, but really know close games. I didn't think that the Nets would flip the script on the Pistons like that. I'm not surprised they won those games, but just the fact it was blow outs like the Pistons did with them on their homecourt.

His performance was just amazing, against one of the top defenders in the league, and one of the top defensive team in the league.
Look for the Kings to win in seven The spurs to win in six The pacers to win in six The pistons to win in six I stand by this statement, my rep is on the line!

I think the Lakers Spurs Series is the top series over the Kings Twolves. The Spurs series is getting much more exposure and has been more interesting because of the Kobe trial, the questions about Payton's ability, Duncan's bad game three, Parker's great first two games. This series has more story lines than any of the others.

I didn't know the grizzlies made it to the second round...?
