Do any of you have a standard pre game ritual before watching a Laker game? Mine is putting on a Laker jersey or sweatshirt & drinking Sierra Nevada beer throughout the game.
Not really (because I cant drink yet...atleast legally) I like to wear a Laker Jersey but it is messed up right now..that is why I ordered the Blue Kobe one
I sport my Laker gear for the whole day. Hell, I sport my Laker gear five days a week in the spring-summer days just cuz I have so much in my closet. Everyone here at Cal Poly knows me as "The Laker Fan" and I'm always bombarded with "you watch the game?" everywhere I go.
This might sound crazy....but I go into my bathroom, jump up and down, getting myself completely fired up before the tipoff, and I slip on my yellow Joe Boxers. It's been giving the team good luck this season, and we've been doing great since I've been wearing them. I'm hitting the mall very soon to buy my first ever Laker jersey. Might be very hard to believe I know, but what do you guys think I should buy?? My first choice would be Kobe's, but he might not be back next season and I'd hate to wear his jersey if he won't resign with the Lakers. What's your guy's opinions?

I would go with an old school jersey as well. Magic, West, Kareem. One thing great about the Lakers is there are a lot of options to go with.
I usually swear at the other team that the lakers are playing, i let loose then i just watch the game and dont talk for the rest of it.
Kobe 8 Ball, still wishing that you bought the Shaq jersey instead? Lol. I've only gone to 3 Laker games, one verse the Clippers in 2000 where the Clippers invited me to give out the game ball, which was very cool because I got to meet Darius Miles and most of the other Clippers, I had great seats they were the first wheelchair section (I'm in a wheelchair... long story) but I just wore my Kobe jersey. I've also gone to two games last year Lakers @ Jazz, both times I just wore my Kobe jersey again. By the way, does anyone know where I can get a Lamar Odom jersey? They just have Kobe, Shaq, Malone, and Payton jersey here in Utah at the malls.
I dont have any rituals really just sit on my sofa and get ready to watch a good game. Sometimes I make a bag of pop corn, but it is not something I would call a ritual rather than just something I do because I am hungry lol.
i watch pregame, get a cold soda(ya im so dangerous) and grab some home made nachos and maybe heat up jalapeno poppers and invite friends over and we yell and scream we went crazy when fisher hit .04 shot
first i grab a soda and some chips then i watch the pregame.... lol and during the game all i do is swear and curse at the refs and the other team theyre playing against.
I don't really have any rituals lol. Ill prolly drink a soda, usually. I get mad at the Refs alot, boo the other team(Even though they can't hear me. lol) and, once the Lakers win I go crazy. lol.

At any rate, I don't have pre game rituals but I'm superstitious as hell during the game. Like say if someone walks into the room and the lakers go on a dry spell, I often blame it on the person and kick them out of the room, lol
