For next season, what better way to hit the game winner in the situation he did. Amazing shot by him, broke all the hearts everyone in San Antonio.

    I'm still in shock

The Clippers seemed to be interested in signing him and have done for quite a while now. Making that shot will interest other teams in the off-season, thats a fact.

Spurs season is now DONE in my opinion.

Let's not jump to conclusions here. the spurs can still win game 6 and bring it back to san antonio, where, without fisher's last second shot, they woud've been 3-0. in my opinion, the series has just started.

Both teams will need to win Game 6.

Thank you mustard man. Just like last season when everybody thought Dallas would be toast in Game five vs SA, they pulled it out. Im not about to say nothing because I was proved wrong last night when I was saying not a chance they Lakers can win after Tims shot, I learned to put my own foot in my own mouth so you people watch you sayin "the spurs havent go ta chance in hell to win game 6"

This thread isnt about the Spurs being done or not, it is about Fisher.

Fisher has always been a quality PG IMO. Not an Allstar, no where near that level. But with Kobe and Shaq on the same team, he has always been over-shadowed. Making the transition from starter to bench also hasnt been easy for him. THe only way I see him resigning with the Lakers is if Payton leaves. I think he would do the Clippers a lot of good if they got him. All I know is that He will be a great addition to whatever team gets him.

I agree with you QRich. Lakers need Fish, beginning and end of story.

Fisher has always been good, regardless of me not liking him. Fact is I didn't like him because of that, he could kill you when he had the chance. Both he and Horry were both overated and underated at the same time. Sure they goofed up at times, became worse or inconsistent but all in all they were good players, with a decent surrounding, supporting and leading cast, they mended very well and could get the job done. He's no different.

This guy still needs to become more consistent and be willing to play a lesser role on the Laker team to be locked with LA in the future. That shot was a pretty lucky one in my opinion, and I still do not believe he did get it off in time. Anyhow, it was still an amazing shot.

PS: When does his contract expire?
