HE MADE ONE OF THE TOUGHEST SHOTS IN NBA History! especially the playoffs! Doc Rivers and the other guy said they had never seen anything like that shot! I'm glad Fisher made it! Now, the Lakers will realize how valuable he is to the organization!
Did yall see what the Lakers did during that timeout? They took out Derek Fisher and subed in God. There is no way any human could make that shot I've entered depression because of that game. It was a wonderful game... but I just hate being on the revieving end of a last four tenths of a second shot.
Gtta admit, though...Timmy D. Finally came through in the clutch... Too bad Manu couldn't play DEFENSE IF HIS LIFE DEPENDED ON IT IN THOSE .4 SECONDS.!!Haha...

During the game, I just saw some guy praying right behind Doc Rivers and the other commentator. I knew there was gonna be some kind of "fishy" thing going on at the end of the game.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">shaq my sentiments exactly. i can't believe a 74-73 game was so exiciting.</div> On espn news they said the Spurs filed a formal complaint saying that it's impossible to get a shot off that quick. They're trying to overturn the call!

Also I thought the ref checks those kinda of shots when the buzzer goes off. So if the Ref said it count the Spurs cant complain or am i wrong here? Other than that that wasnt D Fisher taking that shot. No way. It was the Mighty Man from Upstairs himself taking over D Fisher and making sure his and my favorite team wins. It was amazing. I hope the Lakers see now why they need to keep D Fisher. It was a mistake letting Robert Horry leave but if Fisher leaves no other man than Kobe could take those shots. They need people like D Fisher. I always loved that little man and now he shows me why i love to see him play. I kinda missed his 3-pointers this year but he has woken up and making sure he shows why they call the Lakers "ShowTime Basketball"
I was pulling my hair in disbeliefe when Duncan hit his shot. Then 2 timeouts and .4 later I was running around my room yelling NO WAY! Best game of the playoffs.

This was before the replay rule...the officials waved off the shot even tho it appeared that he got it off on time...they pretty much said the same thing u said, that it was impossible to get it shot off with 0.3 seconds....that the clock guy must have started it slow However, after the game, they reviewed the play, and indeed the clock worked properly and started the moment davis touched the ball. baron davis DID get it off in time....the league had to send a formal apology to the Hornets for that...
i always thot u couldn't take a shot in 0.4 secs, but fisher said he was half way through his shot when he caught the ball....if thats possible :S
Technically if you looked at a picture as to how much time was on the clock when Duncan got his shot in it showed: 0.8 seconds. So in all realism the Lakers could have been screwed over in the end.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting primetime:</div><div class="quote_post">HE MADE ONE OF THE TOUGHEST SHOTS IN NBA History! especially the playoffs.</div> I personally thought that Duncan's shot was harder to make. I mean Duncan made a fadeaway, contested prayer as he was falling to the ground over Shaq. All this is happening while two other Laker defenders are trying to strip the ball away from him once he made it to the opposite side of the lane where he started from. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting primetime:</div><div class="quote_post">Too bad Manu couldn't play DEFENSE IF HIS LIFE DEPENDED ON IT IN THOSE .4 SECONDS</div> On the contrary, I thought Manu played stellar defense on Fisher during that play. You honestly could have asked for a better defensive effort on that play. Fisher just got lucky on that play. No guard could have defended that shot any better. ------------------------ About the whole second thing, I am up in the air. I just do not see how it is possible to catch the ball towards the sideline, turn as you are jumping in the air and get a shot off in .4 seconds. If he didn't have to turn I could understand it but the shot he made seemed like it would take a hell of a lot longer than 4 tenths of a seconds to get off. Either way both Fisher and Duncan made unbelieveably difficult clutch shots for their team in last nights game.
i don't know if i heard shaq right but i thought he said the play was designed as inbound play to kobe than lob from kobe to shaq. if i heard that right, how did the lakers expect to pull all that off in 0.4 seconds.

You must have heard it wrong. With .4 seconds all you have time to do is catch and shoot. You cant even dribble or pumpfake in .4 seconds while still getting your shot off.
