Many people started the playoff saying they were boring - bad teams, unispiring matchups, everyboy knew who was going to advance. best of seven in both rounds didn't help matters. Second round started with all matchups quickly getting into 2-0. Now... New Jersey comes back, the Lakers rebound, the Heat does the impossible, Kobe drops 42, Duncan hits the most impossible shot only to be upstaged by Fisher, and just this minute, after a sick block by Jefferson, Billups heaves a Hail Mary from midcourt and ties the game! There's an incredible story every day. These playoffs are anything but boring.
wooo I agree, although I've never hated any minute of the playoffs, I'm loving this year!! The past 24 hours have been REDICULOUS. Keep it coming.
The only first round game that was competitive was the Heat and Hornets. But many should've expected this to be a real competitive 2nd round series. But didn't quite expect this much excitement in 24 hours. DFish buzzer shot/ RJ's shot block/ Chauncey's buzzer beater to send it to OT/ Triple overtime for the Pistons and Nets.
It would be a better playoff if my either of my teams (Kings, Spurs) win. If neither make it to the Finals i want the East to win since I like all four teams from the East, all four teams have players that I like.
These playoffs have been very amazing, especially the 2nd round. The 1st round was kinda iffy at times, but, wow, what a 2nd round. The Lakers have done something no one thought they could do after game 2, the Heat, whom people were predicting to be swept, are right there in the series, the Nets have stormed back after being embarrased the first two games and are now leading the series, and the Kings and TWolves have been putting up a very unpredictable series due to the fact that each teams defense seems to fall apart near the end of the 4th quarter each game. This 2nd round has been about as good as a 2nd round can get for me. Come on, 3 teams come back from down 0-2 to either tie or take the series lead and the TWolves/Kings have had an entertaining series. I couldn't ask for anymore.
It was the best 24 hours of basketball I've ever seen in my life, but it was a shame to have my two favorite teams, the Spurs and Pistons, lose 2 heartbreakers.
derek fisher's shot was just amazing. duncan hit that shot and i thought it was over until i saw there was .4 left. i figured kobe would get a shot off, but it was all D. Fish!

So, yea, must suck, have your teams go up 2-0, one of em loses 4 straight and gets eliminated and the other one has lost the last 3. That would be brutal.
This year's playoffs is better than last years. I guarantee this year's finals will be way better than last year's considering the Spurs are eliminated while the Lakers have had a history of performing exciting Finals basketball.
Ive expected great 2nd rounds, and its not at all surprising that Lakers and Nets fought back. That was in my expectation This years playoffs are just the most exciting it can get (twolves -king, lakers -spurs, pistons-nets) ...
Second round has been good, first round sucked. The Indiana-Miami series has been alright also, and the best matchup was San An vs LA.
Yea, Lakers/Spurs has probably been as exciting of a 6 game series I've ever seen. Cause you had what, the Lakers come from down 0-2, there were 3 potential game winning shots within about 11 seconds of eachother in game 5, Kobe went of for 42 one night, yea, plenty of drama in that series.
This year has been amazing. The 30-20 performance of KG in game seven made it that much better. The finals in both conferences is gonna be amazing. I expect Sam Cassell and Shaq to dictate the first couple games in the west, and Ron Artest and Chauncey Billups to do the same in the East. Great series both ways. This year we have the top two records in each conference battling it out. I know the Nets had a better seed than the Pistons, but Detroit still had the better record.
A very, very memorible 2nd round series. Even though the Pistons killed the Nets and held Jason Kidd scoreless, that was a pretty good series over all too.
One of the best playoffs sicne ive startted pay9ing attention to basketball..Althought I'm disappointed Kings couldn't have gone past the 2nd round. I've never hated one minute of the playoffs
