I just read that Trenton Hassell, who is a restricted free agent, wants to sign a new deal with the Wolves instead of going into free agency! Good news for the Wolves. McHale better sign him right after the playoffs.

That's fantastic news. Hassell has quickly become my second favourite player on the Wolves. And he seems to be very apreciated by the players, coaches and staff.

They should try to re-sign him as quickly as possible. Hassell won't be expensive to sign and his defensive skills will attract a lot of teams. The Wolves better make him the best offer. He is needed in their starting lineup.

This is great news. He has become one of my favorite players. He has been very valuable in the playoffs. The Wolves should resign him as soon as possible. His value has raised alot in the playoffs. He has shown that he isn't only a defensive stopper but also has good offensive skills.

I agree that we should get that part of business done ASAP & I also agree that alot of teams will be interested in him. The nice part about him being an RFA is that, theoretically, we can match any offer sheet he'd sign up to the MLE without using the MLE. I don't think we'd need the full MLE anyway but since he's our RFA, we don't need to use any part of the MLE.
