I think the blazers this summer will have to decide which one should they keep
I personaly like Shareef because he is a class act, great player great person.
Doesnt complain about mintues. Someone the blazers fan needs.

taking everything else out of the equation, I have to easily go with Randoph. He's young and starting to come into his own. He'll be a force, no matter what uni he's wearing.

Disciplinary reasons may preclude Blazer fans from wanting to keep him, but if he can clean up his act, I think he's the better of the 2 to keep.

The Blazers will almost definitely choose to keep Randolph this summer simply because they promised their franchise to him over the last offseason, and that all the trades this past season have been based to help Randolph.

OT: Dont like Stoudemire, Randolph and Woods have some drug problems?
I would easily keep Randolph way more to offer from him. Randolph is younger stronger and still hasnt hit his prime while on the other hand 'Reef is like grampa strickland "he aint what he used to be, he aint what he used to be, he aint what he used to be".

Yeah, but that doesn't mean that they aren't good players.

The Blazers should keep Zach Randolph. He has a brighter future and is coming onto his own.

In my opinion thats a really dumb question. Sure 'reef is good, but hes kinda old, Randolph is the future of their franchise, for now atleast. Basically I don't think there should be any question that they should keep Randolph, the blazers are trying to rebuild, kinda, and hes the man to be in it, not 'reef.

Have you guys watch him play? He is not a force, he only shots jumpers or pick up garage like Brian Cardinal, can Brian Cardinal be franchise player, no.

I think they should keep Randolph. He is younger and physically more intimidating than Shareef. Randolph is not the definition of a flashy player but nevertheless I always thought Shareef was a bit soft, and especially so now that he is out West.

Gotta go with Randolph. He is now the player they want to build this team around and they will do so. He's also younger than Shareef and just as good overall if not possibly better, especially down in the low post, which, we all know you need someone down in the post if you want to win in the West. So, I think Randolph is the logical choice.

I've never really been fond of whiners or people with huge egos, but he has a right to be. He's so good at what he does, plus he can only become better. Though I myself would rather have nice guy 'Reef with me, he has the advantage.

In the sense apart from age, his now established scoring and boarding abilities as well as being the MIP, he still can become better. I feel unless 'Reef goes somewhere where he can be used, that won't happen for him, unlike Randolph. He has the power, mentality, ego and general personality to be strong on the court emotionally. With that said he'd have a higher chance of succeeding as a dominator on the court, K-Mart anyone?

You didn't seriously just compare ZACH RANDOLPH to BRIAN CARDINAL? [IMG] [IMG]

I don't care how you do it, 20-10 in the West as a forward/center qualifies as a force. Name me one who can/has achieved that over a season in such a top heavy conference, but isn't a force.

MJ shot a LOT of jumpers in his twilight years. Did that make him any less of a force? It doesn't matter what you shoot, if you can make the shot on a regular basis. Garbage logic.

Randolph The Rudolph The Red Nose Of BLAZE BLAZETZ!

He's still very young and already established himself as one of the elites in the L. He's bound to improve and make some serious noise in the future. Please, I like Reef but I'd rather have a 23 year old rising star then a 28 year old has-been... no offence to him, he's still an excellent player.

The Blazers have to keep Zach Randolph. He is a 20/10 guy in the West in his 3rd season in the NBA and is still a young guy. He was almost an all star this season, and should be one in the future. SAR is good, but isn't as important to the Blazers and you can't build around him like you can with Randolph. He's the MIP, and he can get better and there is no logical reason to let him go.

the blazers should trade Zach while his stock are very high. They should trade him for guys like Ray Allen or Paul Piece.

I think I gotsta go with Zach Randolph. Reef is a good player, but I dont think that he has as much potential to catapult the Blazers into a higher status. No offense to Abdur Rahim, because he is a good guy. He dont complain like these youngans do about little things like minutes and he dont get into trouble. **COUGH** Rasheed Wallace, Damon Stoudamire **COUGH**

the blazers dont need anymore of those good players with drug problems. They need good citizens to make the fans happy. They needs guys improve themself on things they are not good at (Darius Miles, He really improve his jumper last 10 games, watch out). Not those cocky guys with drug problems.

He has hasn't he? He's been dubbed and caught with similiar charges too hasn't he, drugs and stuff. Not forgetting his ego, remember when he got benched for awhile, he whined, I still would rather have him as well.

Zach is a great defense away from being one of the PF's in the league. Have you seen his improvements in the course of one year? So if he spends some time on the gym, work out and work on that defense during the summer, he'll be a force to reckon with for the next decade.

    Oh and he's young too.
