Has Ike Diogu from Arizona St. declared? or is he staying? I haven't heard much talk about him but I like him a lot as a player.

If he does/did declare, where do u see him falling in the draft...I think he's the best player out of the Pac-10 (I'm not that high on Childress)

He isn't going to the NBA this year. Scouts aren't big on him. He is a small power forward at 6-8. He isn't a great athlete, and isn't a quick jumper, so that and his height give many scouts question marks about his ability to rebound in the league.

Diogu's lack of size makes scouts skeptical about his ability to make the transistion to the NBA. His talent and production are undeniable however. 23 points on some good shooting (.530/.815/.378). Toss in 9 boards and nearly 1.7 blocks per game and he is a legitimate prospect. He only needs to make marginal improvements or have Arizona St. drastically improve on last year's 10-17 record to lock up a mid-late 1st round draft status.

He could sneak into the lottery if he turns himself into a quality defender or significantly ups his RPG average (showing that being undersized isn't an issue for him). He's an interesting prospect who will be fun to keep an eye on next year.
