<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Timberwolves coach Flip Saunders appeared very emotional Sunday afternoon when he appeared at his postgame news conference following the 104-87 loss to the Sacramento Kings in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals.

Saunders was upset about how the game went from a physical standpoint.

He said in his nine years of coaching in the NBA, he had never been involved in two consecutive games where players have been ejected from the game, and he talked about the rough stuff on the court.

On Friday, Brad Miller of the Kings and Darrick Martin of the Wolves were ejected. Miller was fined $10,000 by the NBA for making a gesture to the crowd as he walked off the court.

And then on Sunday, former Wolves guard Anthony Peeler was ejected when he gave Kevin Garnett a strong forearm to the chin.

The officiating in Friday's Game 5 at Target Center was tight. The officials took control of the game.

On the other hand, you had a feeling something was going to break out Sunday, with the officials letting a lot of things go. </div>

Stupid by both players, and the necessary punishment was made for those. Suspending Peeler for that crap was the right thing to do, and now the Kings player's are whining about it. You know, after all that stuff the Laker fans said about the Kings, I thought they were just mad that they were losing, but now I can see where they are coming from.

sorry... i have not heard one kings player whining about the suspension...
i HAVE heard them publicly say they expected it & they are going to have to work around it... perhaps you have some direct linkage of any memeber of the kings organization "whining"?
