KG was fined $7,500 and Peeler was suspended for 2 games.

Interesting outcome. I only expected Peeler to get a game suspension.

I love KG but damn he got lucky on that. Now Kings are gonna loose.
Lmao, Peeler got a nice hit in. They were both dancing round tryna get a fight in again.

Well it's kinda like Chris predicted. That Peeler would be suspended and KG wouldn't. 2 games though, did not expect that though.

Both are well deserved punishments. Peeler is whom really started the chaos. But Garnett was wrong for throwing that elbow.

Should be a one game suspension. Im not suprised with KGs punishment, never expected him to get a suspension.

Does this come into effect for game 7 of the Western Conference Semis or will it come in to effect in the WCF?

Peeler has alot of guts to go up against KG. I bet if this was the regualr season KG would have put him in a hospital.

That's mere pocket change for both of them. Peeler got the far worse punishment even without being fined.

KG could have gotten hit with a suspension, but he did the right thing by just backing off after the big elbow Peeler hit him with. Peeler deserved 2 games; he hit KG twice and the 2nd one was an obvious knock out attempt.

Pretty surprised, but I don't think the league wants to suspend there MVP for the 7th game of the series. This game could bring in huge ratings, but without KG it wouldn't. They helped KG alot with this one.

If they did suspend him, it would make the league look horrible. Having arbuably there best player not playing in his most important game of his career.

if garnett didn't get suspended neither should peeler, peeler is pretty important to the kings...arg...i hope the kings still pull through and knock the wolves out...then the lakers..then the eastern conference champs..

I think this will fire the Kings up, I expect a quick start from them just because they will want to prove to everyone that this suspension doesnt matter.

How can two former teammates who played together for 6 seasons do this?

It doesn't matter if they were former teammates. It doesn't matter even if you were best friends. In the playoffs, you will have to play like warriors and fight to win a game. You got to do everything to win and move on to the next round. This is the playoffs.

Haha, so idiotically starting a personal fight shows how much of a Warrior you are in the playoffs? I don't think it has any relation to focusing towards the game in an important playoff game.

Me agrees with The Answer. I think Kevin was just playing around with his old teammate and Peeler took it serious...

Yeah when he bumped into him he had like a grin on his face.I dont think KG thought Peeler was gonna strike him.Im suprised KG didnt try to hit him back but it was good he didnt and also smart.

My Dad says Peeler was trying to get KG to retaliate so that he might not be there for game 7, I'm glad he didn't let out, otherwise there chances of taking it would go down by a heck of a lot. What happened though was fair, any form of physical or mental abuse like that deserves punishment.
