Blaming the Owners? What is that about? It had nothing to do with them. It was just classless fans trying to display their anger.

Furthermore, it's entirely within their power to use the PA system before the game & tell the fans to not throw objects onto the floor or they'll be removed & won't be permitted to attend another Kings' game. If it'd only happened once, that's one thing. Doing it in back-to-back games is inexcusable & dangerous to the players. That's why I blame the Maloofs & the fans.
They have some of the most classless fans in the world. I haven't seen crap like that since that Cleveland Brown incident. Even though it was not as worse, it still is really stupid and just shows ignorance by the fans.
The Maloof brothers could have not let a beer be served at all or at least not after the 1st half imo. If you know your fans were a bit out of control the games before, you have to take measures to limit the risk of something else happening. They knew things were going to get testy in the 2nd half of the game-the kings season was on the line. And Iam pretty sure beer probably had something to do with the judgement of Kings fans. So the Maloof brothers should have forseen, And took the hit in the pockets & not sold beer just my opinion. It would limited the risk of something like this happening.
Typical actions by Sac fans. These are the same childish displays of displeasure they did when they played against the Lakers. I agree, the owners and/or coach needs to step onto the PA and make an announcement. When fans are out there trying to injure the opposing team just to win a game, there's something very wrong with the situation and it needs to be controlled before it gets worse. Major League Baseball saw first hand how out of control it can get when fans jumped onto the field and started attacking players and coaches.
The brothers were jumping up and down waving their arms for the fans to stop throwing stuff. It has happened in other Arenas as well. Funny how you guys are quick to label all Kings fans like this when it is only a few participating in this.

No one said ALL their fans act this way, obviously their are some great fans from Sac, but this thread is about the idiots throwing garbage onto the court.
How about Detroit fans? Last time when Raps played them in the playoffs, some fans were throwin garbage at Raps fans who came allll the way from Toronto to support them... and I remember the coach makin some statement about puttin them in the locker with AD and Ben. :mrgreen:

Geez-they are kinda annoying fans. I was wondering: how come Wally always gets quoted on some of the weirdest things. For example, you can't find anything about him in a game review if he even played well, but you find him quoting something on Kings fans????? Am I the only one who notices this?

As far as what the typical Kings' fan is like, all I can go by is what I've seen this series & also what a regular poster on a Kings' board said. He said that if he's paying $1,500 a ticket in the playoffs, that gives him the right to throw whatever he wants onto the floor. That's BS & I told him if he's able to afford those tickets, then he'll be able to afford the civil suit if something he threw onto the floor injures a player. It's perfectly ok to heckle the opposing team but it isn't ok to do something that could potentially end a player's career.

im a kings fan & quite honestly, i cant believe that they would actually do that. what possible reason could you have for throwing stuff on the floor? but lets keep in mind... every year, i see this happen in several places not just in sac and not just in basketball.

Still, it bothers me that it happened 2 straight games.
as am i. all i can say is the best fans are generally the ones that cant afford to sit close enough to make ANYTHING hit the floor if it were thrown. i get tickets to the lower section of arco infrequently thru my girlfriend (she gets them thru work) and it never ceases to amaze me how totally ignorant some of the people im sitting next to at times are... but then on the other hand.. i have been to several kings games & never once have i actually seen anything thrown at the floor... may have happened twice in a row... but im still thinking its an aberration & definetly not the norm at kings games.

You throw something on the floor you can get arrested?</div> Yes, it's a well-known fact but if they've had problems with it the last game there, I'd be proactive & take this step to eliminate that problem: I'd announce the hiring of additional security who've been instructed to patrol for people throwing things onto the court. Anyone throwing things onto the court will be ejected from the arena & won't be allowed to return EVER.
