<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Tucked away from the television cameras, unnoticed by the thousands of Miami Heat fans screaming their lungs out at AmericanAirlines Arena the past few weeks, is perhaps the most compelling story of the team's surprising playoff run. It is the story of a 13-year-old Hialeah boy who lost four siblings -- and eventually his mother -- in a horrific house fire and how he came to find a new family in the Heat locker room.</div> full story i think you might have to register, but its just a nice story
They just mentioned this on ESPN. It's a refreshing change to hear about after Lamar's bad publicity the last 4 years.
i heard about this, and the fact that he was worried that people would think this is a publicity stunt goes to show how genuine this guy is. He did a great thing for those kids, i can't imagine what they are going through. Lamar helped get there minds off things in a great way and its good to see Lamar getting some positive publicity. Go Odom!
I owe Lamar an apology. I thought he was a total jerk when he was with the Clippers. I wasn't pleased to have heard that the HEAT had acquired Lamar but he's shown everything he got to make this great team his team. Him and Dwyane Wade will be one of the scariest duo in the league. Sorry LAMAR! I LOVE YOU!!
