Recently, some people on the board said that KG needed to step it up in the play-offs in order for him to earn their respect. Has he now earned that? Or are there still doubts left?
He's always been good, always has been, always will. He can never be called the hero, he can never be defined as he'll always play well. This simply was just one of his exceptional games. He's proved he's not the MVP for nothing, why he's the leader, why this is his team and why they're part of the West as well as why they were not flukes who went past the 1st round. KG simply established it with force and literally went to "war". He's clutch and reliable, but the biggest factor was shown was his competitiveness, that simply drives him to be the monster that he is.
This game is defining in a way that it shows KG's breakout in the playoff experience. The fact that it was against the Kings, that fact that he recorded 30 and 20 plus, the fact that it was at home, and the fact that it was KG's birthday... could it get any more defining then that? It's like God planned it that way from the beginnin, it's scary.

Thats the only way he will gain more of my respect.
Exactly. We can talk this and that, but save the chitter chat, cause winning that championship solves EVERYTHING. It's cure to the cancer... no kiddin.
I agree, there will always be doubts until you win a championship. But KG did have a amazing game and stepped up and played in another level when his team needed him the most. It was a win or go home situation and he came up big. He scored points, grabbed rebounds, blocked shots, forced turnovers, got everyone involved, etc. It was a great experience for him. He matured alot in the process. He played like a MVP should play like.
Given the chance... Garnett has shown he can use the resources he has to now take over games and take his team deep into the playoffs... defining? Nah not quite yet... more to come.
