<font color="Indigo"><font size="2"><font face="Arial">I heard an NBA analyst that Tracy McGrady is leaving Orlando next year and has chosen 3 teams that he would like to play for. Those teams are the Spurs, Lakers, and Rockets. The analyst said that T-Mac is probably going to be in a Rockets uniform for Francis and someone else. Where would you like to see T-Mac play?</font></font></font>
The person who's said that is Peter Vecsey. I posted the comments in the Magic forum: http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=17950 <font color="DarkRed"><font size="1">And it's PHX, not LAL as the 3rd team.</font></font>
Not with Spurs, he dosen't fit into that system. Lakers, damn scary. With him at SF, and if Kobe stays, and Shaq down low. Maybe Rockets, but I don't think they trade one selfish point guard for a SF who needs the ball a lot.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KS1:</div><div class="quote_post"> Rockets, but I don't think they trade one selfish point guard for a SF who needs the ball a lot.</div>As i said in the magic forum if Payton decides to sign with Houston. Tmac could spread the floor out alot for Yao to reak havoc in the post. With there quality big men they could cause some damage next year. But if somehow tmac ended up in La that would just be insane.

oh T-Mac to the rockets, i like that. No doubt that Yao is their franchise player, and T-Mac is like Kobe, he is not selfish, plus he can dish the ball well too. They can definity work something out. T-Mac will fit the rockets better than Steve because T-Mac knows what his job is which is to score and to find an open teamate(Yao). Also Yao is a gifted passer too. I can just imagine when Yao gets double team, T-Mac cuts to the hoop and receive an ally lop from Yao.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting WarriorsxGS:</div><div class="quote_post">T-MAc to the Warriors. We deserve him.</div>Boy would the Warriors love to have him. The Warriors are lacking that one superstar to get them over that hump and T-Mac would definately be that guy.
Straight from the original post: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I heard an NBA analyst </div> The quote comes from a segment on Best Damn Sports Show Period, where they talked to him directly. Furthermore, anything said by Vecsey is just that, GOSSIP, usually started by himself.
Well, if the rockets got payton and mcgrady, that would be scary payton could fill the rocket's lack of defense and spread the floor, and then you could have crazy scorers in yao and t mac

The Magic and McGrady were the ones lacking defense! Steve Francis for McGrady... I wouldn't do it based on the impact both players had on their teams this past season, but you can't pass on a talent like McGrady, if he starts caring more about winning than individual glory the Rockets can return to an elite status in the NBA. Although, if Francis and Yao get some good forwards to work with they to can return the Rockets to elite status too, I'd rather go that route.
Damn, why the hell did he leave Toronto. God damn, that would of been one of the greatest duos in history. I don't even think he's leaving Orlando. They will instantly be a worse team if he leaves. The only way they will maintain the caliber of their team is if they trade him for Kobe.
if LA wins this year payton is staying. my source is gary payton himself, his exact quote was "if it ain't broke, dont fix it." the way things are going right now, looks like payton is staying put
I would like to see T-mac at houston with yao ming. They would be the ultimate team. But orlando will be better next season and T-mac might stay.
