<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Chungster:</div><div class="quote_post">Damn, why the hell did he leave Toronto. God damn, that would of been one of the greatest duos in history.

I don't even think he's leaving Orlando. They will instantly be a worse team if he leaves. The only way they will maintain the caliber of their team is if they trade him for Kobe.</div>

IMO, T-mac wouldnt have been the player that he is now if he stayed in Toronto. But yah that would of been one of the greatest duos in NBA history.

I don't see T-Mac winning if hes the #1 guy. IMO, he has a better chance in winning a championship if he's the second option. Like Kobe behind Shaq.

Peter Vescey is an IDIOT not an NBA analyst. I guess you all have really short memories because he spent about 4 or 5 years on TNT "analyzing" the NBA - which largely meant he invented rumors and told them to a national audience. He works for the NY Post people.

Now, it doesn't take a genious to see that Houston and Orlando might make a trade. BUT, remember, McGrady is not going ANYWHERE on his own. He has an opt-out after next season - NOT this one. IF the Magic decide to trade him, that means they want value back. That means NO Lakers and NO Spurs. Houston is a possibility because they have Francis and are said to be dissatisfied.

But mark my words - TMac will not be playing in Purple and Gold or Silver and Black next year.

FYI - It's up to Payton if he plays in LA next season. He signed a 1 year deal with a player option for a second year. He can go to Houston if he wants, but why would he?

Once and for all, Tracy McGrady will most definitely be in Orlando next year. The 1# pick will make him want to stay just to see how the season will turn out. Come on now, I you knew your team has good quality players that just had a bad year and you had the top pick coming in that you wouldn't wait around another year to see what happens? I thought so. I look at this rumor mill and some of these threads crack me up, are these real rumors or are these rumors that you guys are trying to start. Or even they might just be what you want to happen.
