PG: Jason Kidd / Sam Cassell SG: Kobe Bryant / Ray Allen SF: Ron Artest / Andrei Kirilenko PF: Kevin Garnett / Tim Duncan C: Shaq / Yao Ming
I am going to re-do mine to make it more of a team. PG : Jason Kidd / Sam Cassell SG : Kobe Bryant / Ray Allen SF : Tracy McGrady / Ron Artest PF : Kevin Garnett / Tim Duncan C : Shaquille O'Neal / Yao Ming My 2nd team could probably lock down nearly everyone. The 2nd team is a little more unselfish, while the first team would just run everyone. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> SF- Andrei Kirilenko (defensively he alters games)</div> Why not just go with Ron Artest? He alters games.
PG Jason Kidd - Baron Davis SG Kobe Bryant - Paul Pierce SF Kevin Garnett - Andre Kirelinko PF Tim Duncan - Jermaine O'Neal C Shaq - Yao Ming

PG- J-Kidd and Sam I Am, arguably two of the best PG's in the league right now. I love B Dizzle and I know he and Sam I Am share the same, shoot first, pass later mentality, however Sam I Am is more flexible and an equally good passer, he can do it all well. SG- Redd, great guy, great team player, same goes for Allen, I could have Kobe in either stead if I needed a guy with good passing skills and more pronounced defense. SF- J'O and Odom, simply because. PF- KG and TD, arguably two of the best in the league right now. C- Ratliff and Big Ben, two undersized major ass shotblockers, can anyone say rejection kings?
We're talking about a US dream team, right? If that's the case, then players like Yao, Peja, and Kirilenko wouldn't even qualify. Here's my team: PG- Jason Kidd -- Baron Davis SG- Ray Allen -- Kobe Bryant SF- Carmelo Anthony -- Lebron James PF- Kevin Garnett -- Tim Duncan C- Shaquille O'neal -- Ben Wallace The tough part is finding a mix of players who don't need to dominate the ball to be effective. For my starting team, of course I needed the big fella in the middle, but everyone else has a multi-faceted game. The backup team includes a premeir post player in Duncan, as well as explosive perimeter players like Davis and Kobe. The 1, 2, and 3 position are all excellent ball-handlers and will share point duties. Ben Wallace, the best defensive center in the league, makes an excellent backup center. Ray Allen and Kobe Bryant are both excellent perimeter shooters and will provide just enough three-point shooting for the team. Its important that its not overloaded with three-point shooters, because that would take away from the excellent middle-game the other players provide (Garnett, Anthony, Duncan -- in particular).

C- Shaq/Ben Wallace PF- Kevin Garnett/Tim Duncan SF- Ron Artest/Richard Jefferson SG- Tracy McGrady/Kobe Bryant PG- Jason Kidd/Allen Iverson
I seriously could never see a Shaq, KG and McGrady working, so many ego's, even Ron Artest has his ego with him too, that team would crumble.

Shaq Duncan KG Ray Allen Kidd KG is very much a team player, ditto for Duncan. Duncan's a post presence and KG tends to use his midrange game more. Kidd finds the open man, Allen makes open 3's as good as anyone in the league. Shaq is the intimidator and relieves pressure from everyone else
