<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Before the Wolves began their Game 7 duel with the Sacramento Kings, Cassell was in the locker room, hurting. He was getting treatment on his sore hip and back, trying to get the spasms to abate, the electronic stimulation connected to him like a lifeline. "He was wired-up in the locker room," Mark Madsen said, reciting a line you've probably heard 1,000 times. But this time he was speaking literally. Wires, everywhere. "I've never seen so many wires on a guy," Madsen continued. "Someone here called him the Bionic Man. Let me tell you, he's got a huge heart." Sore hip, aching back, big heart, big enough to find a way to do what was necessary. He had the stimulator unit taped to his back. Every time he came out of the game, they'd plug it in. Then he'd re-enter the game. "I had a cracked rib one time," he said. "But that was just not being able to breath. Having the pain I had today? It's wild, man. It's wild." Know this: It was not a perfect effort from Cassell. By the fourth quarter he was hurting, badly. He played just five minutes in the fourth, and he made a couple turnovers in the closing moments.</div> Link He has a big heart. He played thru aches and pains. He contributed alot to the team in game 7, a very important game for the team. I hope he gets better.
I guess he feels and wanted to show why he's part of the Big Three, why he's part of the Timberwolves, why he's so good and why he's so needed and liked. He really does have a big heart and obvious skills, always with the Bucks. He simply never had a chance to show them off or use them. Big ups to Cassell he came through for us and I'm thankful, show them what a real veteran can do against the Lakers.
