<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Doug Collins, who coached Michael Jordan with the Bulls during some of his great career, paid tribute to Kevin Garnett on Wednesday night when he put the MVP of the NBA in the same class as the former Bulls great.

" They're different [Jordan and Garnett]," said Collins, the TNT analyst who recently coached the Wizards for two seasons. "The thing about what Kevin did tonight: He showed what the great Michael Jordan did throughout his career in big games, coming through when you need it the most. And that's what defines great players -- being stars when the game is on the line.

" I think you saw another step in the maturation process of Kevin Garnett," Collins said. "Garnett was not going to let his team lose tonight.

"These are games where you validate your greatness. And Kevin got his team through the first round against Denver and tonight, another step, he stepped up and did what he had to do. And, again, he wasn't going to let his team lose. He was out on his feet with fatigue in the last four minutes and he just found a way to gut out the game."</div>

Who wouldnt be impressed with KG, he's the MVP and a future hall of famer for many categories. Doug Collins think's he's something extraordinary but we all KNOW he's extraordinary.

Same class as Michael Jordan? What's up with these hilarious comments? Shaq said Kobe is the greatest of all time, and now this? Hmm, Garnett is mind-blowing, but he's definitely 2nd tier compared to Jordan
