This is just what we needed to realize we are not going to get anywhere with the current line-up that we have now. I believe we will have an interesting and very prosperous offseason.

Kings are the best TEAM in the L. The only reason they didn't win championships for last couple years cause of Lakers.

This year they had bad luck cause Wolves are freakin loaded talent-wise, but no team in the L feed off of each other as well together as the Kings. I really thought they were goin all the way this year...

It's all good though, they got NEXT! [IMG]

you could say most cohesive team in the league, but not the best. There are arguably 4 - 5 teams better then the Kings this year.

    1. Lakers
    2. Spurs
    3. Wolves
    4. Pacers
    5. Pistons

I'm not upset about the way the season turned out

We were in the Playoffs, and we did the best we could despite the injury factor,so there's a lot more good than bad this year, the way i see it!

    I agree Emo.

Last year was supposed to be "Their Year"

There chance to get to the Championship is over for awhile now IMO. With the Timberwolves emerging, the Spurs are already a dominant force, and Memphis is a great rising team, the Kings flame is burning out really fast, If they cant do it next year, I doubt they do it in the next 5.

I don't know about the Pacers. They would put Artest on Peja, Jermaine on Webber. I think the Pacers could take the Kings team that we just seen.

Sure it's dissapointing, but considering the injury plagued year we had all year,we were lucky in some apsects go to where we did

Every team dealt with injuries this season. Lakers, Spurs, and TWolves all had injuries to key players, but they fought through them and the Lakers and TWolves are still alive in the playoffs. The problem with the Kings is they don't have the defense to win in the playoffs. Until they make a commitment on the defensive end, they aren't ever going to make it to the finals. They are a great offensive team, but they allow teams back into games and give up huge leads because they don't practice the fundamentals on TEAM defense. Doug Christie is a great 1 on 1 defender, but after that the Kings are soft across the floor. They don't box out, they don't have a shot blocker, and they don't rotate fast enough.

True That...Our Defense..well we don't have one,and that's been killing this franchise..Our Offense is great, but in order to get the NBA Crown, you MUST HAVE both a offense and a defense, and yet the Kings haven't gotten the message...So maybe this can be a wake up call to the Maloofs so we can have a great "D" line

another reason to dump the crap layin around on the bench and bring back Keon Clark.
his last season in sac he played 80 games had 1.88 BPG and a .501 shooting avarage and .656 FTP played some solid defense in his previous stint here. while not a standout by anybodies standards, he provides much more contribution than some of the dust collectors sitting on the bench currently.

it was pretty much money issues that kept them from coming to terms at the end of his last contract.

I think this was one of the King's last chacnes with their current core roster. Our bench lost a significant amount of depth and the Wolves and Lakers have become powerhouses. One downfall of both teams is they are built to win now. Lakers have some serious cap issues(not sure about the wolves). And to my vague knowledge, the Kings are a bit younger than both teams. I think if front office makes some good moves(and the Maloofs don't decide to cut back on spending too soon) then we can make a pretty good shot at it next year.

Looking at the current rosters nd situations, I think Kings do got next, but it will be very, very hard.

I Personally don't care if Laker,Spurs,Timberwolves fans or whoever wanna cap on the Kings...I Ignore it and it's not worth it to get hyped about it,unless it's a personal attack on you, than yeah, but if not..Blow it off [IMG]
