I'd take dirk. Peja can shoot better, but can't really create his shot like dirk. Peja is a better perimeter defender, but dirk's size gives him an advantage in post defense. Peja can pass better, but Dirk rebounds better. I'd give it to dirk for his size and his ability to pretty much get any shot he wants.
I would take peja no brainer in my opinion. Before he lost the three point shoot out to veshard lenard this year he had won the three point shoot out 2 years straight so he is a proven thee point threat. He can hit clutch shots from basically any where ont he court as he has proven many times. He can pass the ball better than probable any one in his position OUT WEST. He can adapt to playing the 2 if he is forced to and be a great swing mAm. While on the other hand dirk I wouldnt take because despite his size he averages below average rebounds for a 6'11 guy. His defense isnt that good either considering his size. He can not play the 5 well at all. Also he does not adapt well to different styles of play and imo is a liability on the defensive end in a half court game. So that is basically why I would take peja over dirk also peja isnt demanding much money yet at this point in his career. So if I was starting a team and those two were my choices I would choose peja, but if I was tring to draw a trade I would choose dirk because alot of eastern conferense teams would be intrested in him.
