I sure hope so. The guy needs to hit the gym more this offseason. I remember he had muscles at the beginning of the year and they just faded away or something.

The high expectations on Dunleavy comes naturally to Warriors fans. After all, he is a third pick in the 2002 draft, and considering that the Warriors could have taken Amare/Caron Butler/Nene and even Tayshuan Prince instead of Dunleavy leaves a thirst in fans. Dunleavy is supposed to be a savior man! This might just be another glitch in the ill-fated Warrior administration. [IMG]

I Believe no one player can be a Savior to a team...It takes teamwork and good coaching to be make a great team

It's the Media that i believe tends to do that, and people By into that garbage...Like i just said...It's not one player, but every player that makes things happen!

I'd rather see Dunleavy than Childress, even though I'm not a fan of the Duke system. Stanford players never really make as much of an impact in the NBA in my opinion. Sure theres Collins or Madsen but ehh... All about Arizona players in my opinion.

C'mon man, it's all about the player ability and not what school they went to or what country they are from.

That is definetly true. But in many cases, the school breeds certain types of players that play well in certain types of offenses. Just thought I'd mention that... I just hope for a damn good pick and some key trades/pickups!

Cool. I think Josh Childress will probably have the most impact in the league out of Stanford because of his size, smarts and all around game, and most importantly athleticism, something that casey Jacobsen doesn't have. His fro will definitely make him a fan favorite too. As for the Collins twins, I never was really high on those guys. And Mark Madsen is just Madsen, you know what his potential is already so there's no mistake that he'll ever be a Karl Malone or a Chris Webber. Point guard Brevin Knight, you also know what you're getting. Curtis Borchardt I think has the best chance of making a big impact in the league if he ever manages to stay healthy because how many 7 foot power forwards do you know that can block shots, shoot 3 pointers, rebound, and pass well. Not many.

The bottom line is the Warriors should take the best player available. If it was Childress, I'd be more than happy to have him here. GS is rebuilding and is not yet in the position to say "oh he's great but we have so-and-so to play that." The Warriors desperatly need to jumpstart their team and passing on a guy who can do it all is not a good move. I like Dunleavy but I don't believe in investing in him too much. Compared to a decade of playoff absence, this team could use a problem of being too deep at one position. Besides, it's not like having 2 great quarterbacks, this is the nba, SF and SG can be interchanged pretty easily.
