Bosh tries his luck Quote of someone from another forum: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Why not send milt? The guy is much luckier than bosh. He is short, has no game, cant finish layups in a gym by himself, had no political connections or endorsments yet made it into an nba team's rotation and lasted a season. How much luckier can you get? Draft wise its like landing all top five picks.</div>
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Mr.Fundamentals:</div><div class="quote_post">If Bosh's luck is half as good as his game than i hope we land a top five pick.</div>You dont understand how the lottery works. We can't get the 5th pick or 4th pick. We can only get a top 3 pick. We either have pick 1, 2, 3 or pick 8, 9 and 10.
hey kid canada.. i don't know how the lottery pick works.. can u explain us.. i know it depends on what rank you finished your season but i have no idea how they choose the draft order..

The lottery is done for the first 3 picks, after that the other teams picks are arranged depending on their records. So if the top 3 go to 1) Phoenix 2) Atlanta 3) Clippers then... 4) Charlotte 5) Orlando 6) Chicago 7) Washington 8) Toronto Now if a team with less of a chance than us at getting a top 3 pick gets one, then it pushes us down one pick, so if Golden State get's the third pick then we get 9th pick, if Portland gets the 2nd and Golden State the 3rd, then we get 10th pick, if Philly get's 1st, Portland 2nd, Utah 3rd, then we get the 11th pick in the draft. So for every team below you that wins a top 3 pick over you, your pick goes down one. These are the chances: <font size="3">Team Chances</font> Orlando - 25% Chicago - 20% Washington - 15.7 % L.A. Clippers - 10.5% Atlanta - 10.4% Phoenix - 6.4 % Toronto - 3.7 % Philadelphia - 3.6 % Cleveland - 1.8% Golden State - 0.9 % Seattle - 0.9% Portland - 0.6% Utah - 0.5%
No way should Bosh represent the Raptors. Vince is suppose to, because he is the Raptor's representation alone.
Well he might be busy with other things this summer, most notably, preparing for his upcoming wedding so it makes sense to send Bosh. (Seeing as Donyell, Rose and Peddie for that matter could all be gone by the start of next year)
I think this is a good thing, Bosh is a good kid, good things usually happen to good people, if you will. I really think he might be able to net you someone useful or a roleplayer, even worth starting material. Hopefully you guys can pick yourselves up a better PF or something like that, or even a PG.
So notic, are u trying to say that vince is going to be on the raptors next season? its bosh because he's the only one that is 100% going to be a raptor for 04-05.
Chris is a good pick to represent us. I think sending the same person over and over again is kind of "lame". I think the first round pick from the year before should represent the team (if he is still a member of that team, If not a player who is voted b by the team). CB4, let lady luck be on your side.
