Which non-NBA player THAT YOU'VE SEEN PLAY most deserves another shot at the NBA...

please do not list players based on "hype" (i.e. lenny cooke, deangelo collins etc...)

My pick would be Tyus Edney...he definitely deserves another shot. He had a solid college career, a solid NBA rookie season, and a solid career overseas...I would love to see him get another shot at the league..however, his success in europe might prompt him to stay there.

Trevor Ruffin. That last year he had with Philly during the 95-96 season he average 12.7 ppg and 4.5 apg in 28 mpg. I thought he would've had a solid career afterwords but was cut after that season. He may be a bit to old now, but he could lite it up and could give teams a boost with his instant offense.

    Keith Jennings.

He's 34 or so now,but I'd love to see him get another shot in the NBA. He was lightning quick, had an uncanny ability to get to the basket and his passing skills were unreal and he was an assassin from downtown. The knee injury really did him in but from I have seen afterward he still retained his quickness and explosiveness.

Leo Rautins, the Raptors commentator/analyst. He last played in the '84 season as a 'Sixer I believe, along side with Julius Erving and others. He's currently 44, but age is just a number.

I'd like to see Miles Simon get another chance because I was a big fan of his in college...he can't be worse than alot of guys that are in the league now.

well I think Ronnie Fields' injuries he suffered in that accident really limited him as far as playing in the NBA. I don't think it was lack of a chance, just he wasn't the same player afterward.

Khalid El-Amin, he was great with UConn and has been playing well in Europe. I hope a team gives him a shot next season.

Ruben Douglas. Was an awesome player. Graduated last season, 2002-03, at New Mexico. Was the nation's leading scorer. He started off at Arizona, but then transferred. Ruben could STROKE from downtown.

He averaged 28 PPG and 6.6 RPG as a senior, 18 PPG as a junior and 16 PPG as a sophomore. He's 6'4", 200 lbs, with a long range jumper. He could definately provide a spark off the bench for someone. He's a good athlete also.

He is now playing in Greece.

Miles Simon is another guy. I remember him playing with Bibby at Arizona, and I thought he was the better player. They showed him on ESPN during a Summer League game once, but I don't know where he is now.

Erick Barkley excellent playmaker off the dribble, but needs to improve on his jumper. He could be a solid back up playing on the NBA level about 15minutes a game.

Vonteego Cummings- Had two solid seasons with the Warriors but went to Philly & fell of the map. It was hard to add another undersized guard to their back court. But Vonteego could always score since his days at Pitt. He would be a decent bench addition to a team that lacks bench scoring.

this cat is a great Euro-player. I just don't think he has the speed and quickness to compete in the L. One of Europe's all time best tho'.

Whats the story with Percy Miller? Is he just not good enough to sit at least 12th on the bench?

Trust me, I have seen Master P play and he sucks. I don't think I would allow him to be my teams water boy much less a 12th man off the bench. He just has No Game whatsoever. If he got a chance over ANYONE in the NBDL it would be a very dark day in basketball history.

He's terrible man...I saw him in a EBC Rucker game on NBATV and he was horrible...he was a player/coach (like the other thread lol) and he kept himself in the game even tho he was hurting his team...

Yeah they were clown that cat at the Rucker. He is a practice shooter, if you see him shoot when he aint in a game just standing around shooting he pretty much automatic but when it comes to actual game time its a different story. There alot of players out their like that.
