What teams you guys think will do good next season?

I think the teams that will be a great turn around are:

1)Phoenix Suns : Joe Johnson is growing as a player very rapidly.. , Amare continues to learn more and more making him better and better..Matrix .. is Matrix...Top 5 draft pick...maybe Livingston...Ben Gordon...who knows..I think they will be a good team next year...

2)Trail Blazers: They could've make the playoffs this season if that trade had happened let's say..2 weeks before it happened.

3)Orlando Magic: T-Mac is Hungry...Hill might comeback (nobody knows if 100% or close to it (Impossible is Nothing) ) .. might get #1 Draft pick and Emeka Okafor..Keith Bogans 2nd year? Drew Gooden really matures and explodes into an all-star PF? DeShawn Stevenson great off the bench along with Lue? I think this will be the biggest turn around (from worst record) .

4) Atlanta Hawks: With all that Cap space they might sign an all-star player and/or sign 2 really good players plus a top 5 draft pick aswell...really anything could happen with this team if management does a good job.

besides does 4 I think maybe 2 or 3 more worth of mentioning like the Bulls and Wizards but that could change aswell...even tough Wizards could be a big surprise if all are healthy and they get a SF like Deng or Howard.

Washington- With Kwame Brown's emergence this year, he will only get better. He could put up some nice numbers next year. We have Gilbert Arenas, who could become a Triple-Double machine, we have LArry Hughes who gives us leadership and more scoring. If we can get Luol Deng, I guaruntee we will be in contention for a playoff spot, I think we will be this year's Miami Heat, but just miss the playoffs. In 3 years though, we will be in the playoffs.

The Good: Orlando Magic
I also think that the Orlando Magic will be a great team next year. If they do get the number one draft pick, getting Emeka Okafor, then that would be killer. Tracy McGrady and him will be very dominant.
Record Prediction: 41-41

The Bad: Houston Rockets
As for a bad team, I have a feeling that the Rockets won't do so good. They made the playoffs, but they hardly have any stars, and need to get a great pick this year. I don't think they will make the playoofs, but be close to making it.
Record Prediction: 36-46

The Ugly: Chicago Bulls
As for an ugly team, I see the Bulls, once again having a ruined season. They will have too many injuries, lose good players, and get bad draft picks.
Record Prediction: 20-61

The rockets have steve francis, yao ming and cuttino mobley, I consider those guys stars, and 3 is a lot, so I can't see where ur coming from on that hardly any stars thing.

Everybody wants Francis out of there...Ming still needs to work on conditioning and low post movies...and mobley is not a consistant player.

1) Washington: Like Kobe 8 Ball (Why did you have to change your name Q-Rich) said, Kwame will emerge, you all watch, 15 and 9, and with Arenas our triple double threat improving, and Hughes also maturing what's to stop us. I hope Stackhouse and Lattener also leave because they bring the team down, and a coaching change wouldn't hurt either, the ball should run through Kwame (first), and Arenas. Still hoping for Luol Deng [IMG]
39-43

2) Suns: Common just look at the talent on the team, and with the lottery pick even more talent. The Suns can attack the FA market and depending on what they fish out this team is just bound to improve. If Barbosa can improve and Vujanic can show signs of being able to run the point then it's all over. 42-40

3) Clippers: Its gotta be sometime lol, I don't know what's being planned for the off-season, but hopefully drafting a PG, and strengthning the bench. Run the ball through Brand, get him more shots, and hope for improvements from Kaman, and then maybe 38+ games won (it's an improvement) 37-45

4) Portland and Golden State - Don't want to give explanations, but I see a rise from these two teams. 45-37 and 43-41

I could never predict the exact record but..

THE GOOD

Warriors - Really coming together, they were pretty solid this year.

Raptors - Good draft pick, Vince and Rose steppin up, Bosh's comin of age, and Marshall keep droppin them double doubles... and please NO MORE INJURIES. It's possible.

Blazers - Rudolph The Red Nose Of The BLAZETS. I see him really steppin up to carry the team next year, and become a true certified all-star, look out for him.

Cavs - Almost made the playoffs this year. We'll see for sure that LeBron's the real thing. Like Mike? Only Better? Sorry Hill, but that title belongs to Bron, SLAM should do a sequel cover dedicatin that to him, now watch him blow up in his sophomore year. I'm tellin you, he's STILL UNDERRATED!

THE BAD

Sixers - A.I. and Big Dog comin together as the East's true elite one-two punch. Plus Snow, Mickie and thatborinbigguywhoshoots3's as solid role players, they'll come together.... NOT! I don't know, A.I.'s gettin older... he can't rely on his quickness and strength forever, time's runnin out. I don't know, I just don't have faith in them I guess.

& THE UGLY

Bulls - Sorry Diddy, but Chi-Town's BAD BOYS FOREVER! [IMG]

the good

RAPTORS - with Vince healing for the offseason and Bosh just bound to improve every year until he reaches what he is capable of, The Raps have a bright future ahead of them. Even though they have a decent team in terms of talent, they had another subpar year due to injuries and the chemistry, or lack thereof so now they will just improve even more with the draft pick. But once again, next year IMO will lie heavily on the new GM and Coach i'm not that sure, but if they place all the pieces of the puzzle correctly then the Raps will definitelymake the playoffs

How in the world is Lebron underatted? I've never heard that one before.

Yes I forgot, the Raptors, draft pick, we get a PG, sign some good FA's hopefully, Rose to SG, Carter stays at SF, Bosh improves at PF, and we sign someone else at center. Michael Curry, Milt,Corie Blount and Mo-Pete all leave, and we refurnish our bench, and a good season could be in our hands.

Toronto Raptors, because of Vince Carter's career year, and Bosh's 17/9 statistic.

raptors-with a healthy vince, a more improved bosh they'll do well, and with a new coach and GM.
magic-probably getting the#1pick and if t-mac stays in orlando they will be the team they were supposed to be(a playoff contender).

Good-Sixers-This year was a bad year ,bad coach, and bad luck ,are key players got injured. But to me they showed hints of a positive next season they have an ermerging star in Samuel Dalembart, solid numbers from Kenny Thomas, good passing and defense from Eric Snow and hopefully a better year for AI that sounds like a pretty solid team to me I just dont like Glen Robinson I the defensive side I think that is are only weakness.PLus they should be getting a good draft pick.

The Raptors

This is a team that needs a new coach and a new GM, but it may be one of the most talented starting 5 in the league. Once we adress either the Center issue or a PG issue in the draft, and we have a great pick, we will be a great team for the future. My only beef is help off the bench, but I think we'll acquire some in the offseason. I expect to make the playoffs as a top 6 team.

kwame's emergence this year?

10.9 ppg and 7.5 rpg is an emergence? with an extra 8 mins a game (thats almost a whole quarter of ball) he improved 3ppg and 2 rpg. cant say thats exactly an emergence

^that is true but statistics are not everything and Kwame has showed glimpses this year as to why he was the number 1 pick. His confidence is rising and assuming he works on his game this summer he is bound to get better. The wizards also have some above-average players like Larry Hughes, Gilbert Arenas Jerry Stackhouse etc. The wiz have played some games with heart and played them well, the only thing I want to see is if they are consistent enough.

I hope my Hornets come back younger (with a good SF/SG to hopefully replace Mash and Wes, a la Marion or Jamison), Magloire gets stronger and meaner, Baron stays healthy, and we get a coach on the same page. The bad news: We'll go to the west, so our record might not change very much.

everybody talk bad about the bulls i think next season is the season of the bulls with her allstar leader Antonio Davis , a improvement of Tyson Chandler, Ed curry will become an allstar center, jamaal crawford leaves team, good draft pick not another high school player !!! i think Luol deng, Devin harris,Ben gordon... a good improvement of Kirk Hinrich becoming the star point guard of the bulls , Marcus Fizer becomes one of the top sixth man of the league, and the young players will also participate like Linton Johnson III , Jannero Pargo, Ronald Dupree, Eddie Robinson and also i think he will make a good free agent playing the shoting guard position

also i think miami heat can due to make trades an will be one of the better in the east change Eddie Jones for a good center or something

THE GOOD
Bulls: I'm going against all odds, they get chandler and fizer out of there bring in some good players at SF and PF keep curry at center all will go well. If Jay-Cee leaves it will be better Jannero Pargo will step up to starting role and be the player that he was for the bulls all season.
Record Prediction: 38-44
Washington: Kwame picking up his slacks and bulking up is never bad, + Arenas hasnt hit his prime yet and everyone forgot about Larry Hughes.
Record Prediction: 40-42
Phoenix: Amare going on the Olympic team and picking up some stuff from there will definitely make him better and the Matrix is ..... just the Matrix he will stay the player he is. JJ will emerge to be a superstar next season and there draft pick will help a lot.
Record Prediction: 41-41

It's wwaaayyyy too early to do this since free agency, the draft, and trades, haven't even begun, oh well...

East.... Turn arounds... Sixers, Raptors-both playoffs... Team that will get to be at least respectable... Wizards, maybe .500... Let downs... Knicks, Bulls yet again...

West... Turn arounds... Blazers, playoffs... Respectable... Suns, close to .500... Let downs... Kings, 4th seed or below, Nuggets, no more playoffs I can't see Camby staying injury free for another season, Hornets, it will take at least a season to get used to playing in the West...

Oh and as long as Francis and Yao don't miss any time with injuries the Rockets will make the playoffs again. Their defense gives them a chance to win almost every game and they should improve on offense as well.
