For a rookie thats pretty good numbers tho bears. We all know rookies usually dont come into the nfl and put up solid numbers without growing pains. It's the steelers system run first, pass second mentality. He is helping the steelers win games again. This wasnt happining with maddux. I personally feel the kid has a great future and the steelers are bringing him into the nfl the right way.

Definately good for a rookie, but when you rate him as a QB vs. other QBs you have to compare on level footing, especially when talking about an award like MVP, and he does not stack up.

Mvp i dont see him getting and its not even close. Peyton manning seems to have that going for him. Maybe rookie of the year i can see. However our rookie is making a name for himself. 49 catches, 685 yards recieving and 3 tds, it should be 5 tds but two were called back. Its hard to take the rookie of year award away from someone who is a qb and is leading his team wins tho.

Not if manning breaks marinos TD pass record. Faulks record is like 3 or 4 years old, the TD pass record is 20 years old, and no one has ever come close to breaking. Lots of people have come close to faulks record

    Mannings Stats - Yards 2749 TDS 31 INT 6 Fumbles 1/0
Tiki Stats Yards 1391 TDS 10 Fumbles 1/0

So manning has twice the yards and 3 times the TDs, but 6 more turnovers. I think that every sane person given the choice of having Tiki as back or Peyton as QB would choose Peyton.

Yes but the middle word is Valuable in MVP. Qb position is inherently more valuable.

They 2 Top recievers cant score -70 rec 0 Tds. Tiki is only weapon, and is not consistent enough. Warner and Eli wont get it done. Secondary has some major weaknesses that will be more exposed without strahan.

Not to mention the new york giants leds the nfl in sacks giving up. Warner was getting killed with no protection from the o line. Winning 10 games will be hard for the gmen. I dont see it.
