The Timberwolves are going to practice very hard to basically lose in game 3. The Lakers don't even have to practice and they'll win game 3.

What are you talking about, did you even watch game 2? Yes the game will be in LA, but when the Lakers lose to the wolves bench by 18 do you really think just being in LA will help them beat the Wolves.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Rudeezy:</div><div class="quote_post">Great game by the Wolves today. Amazing they were able to do this without Cassell. This has to be a huge boost of confidence heading into LA. Absolutely dominating performance by the Wolves.

The fourth quarter was a prime example on why I hate Malone and Payton.</div>

I agree, they played fantastic. They figured out a way to slow Shaq and they did. I guess Phil is better off putting the triangle into the bin again, let them Lakers have their fast break offense. Without Sam, the Wolves manhandled the Lakers and got to their heads... awesome performance.

BTW, thanks for pleasing us Laker fans with that Kobe sign Rudeezy. I gotta say though your posts don't look like yours at all with that sign on. Still nice.

Definite domintating performance from the T-Wolves last night. What really urks are comments like this, "This being an outmanned Timberwolf team without its playmaker or a pedigree, the Lakers will probably own Tuesday by double digits." (quote from Bill Plaschke) of the LA Times. Boy, what a cocky sports writer if I ever saw one. Yeah, Sacramento said the same thing about the T-Wolves in game 3 and look what happened. I truly hate people throwing statements out like that. Talk about add fuel to the fire on that one, especially for the T-Wolves. You really think Minnesota will go away quietly in this series? The Wolves can beat teams on the road and they have before so what makes LA so over-confident?

Man, nothing ticks me off more than reading idiot sports writing.

Yeah both teams basically did the same thing last year and the Wolves, not the Lakers, took Game 3. Might be different this year, but the Wolves are a different team too so it's going to be tough. The Wolves have pleasantly surprised us Lakers fans, there is competition in the series now finally. :P

    Playmaker comment: Fine, fair enough.

Pedigree comment: Idiocy. Pure Idiocy. Just because you've been there before, doesn't mean you're a lock to win. The irony is that the "Laker Pedigree" wasn't even started in LA, but rather in Minnepolis, which is coincidentally the backyard of the Wolves. [IMG]

Plaschke is a LA homer, as are most hometown sports writers. He's gotta back his boys, for right or wrong.

This series is right where I expected it to be, tied leaving Minnesota. The Lakers' Game 1 win was totally foreseeable, considering geezers like Malone & Payton had 5 days rest. The T'Wolves' Game 2 win was unexpected only from the standpoint that I didn't expect that big of a victory margin.

The idiots predicting a Lakers' sweep should be ashamed of themselves. That never had any chance of happening.

KG & Spree were great last night & will continue leading the team the rest of the way. They're playmakers both offensively & defensively. Spree's defense of Kobe is what wore Kobe down & caused him to miss alot of his 4th quarter shots.

KG's energy is way up again & he'll abuse Thug Malone & Slave Medvedenko.

Shaq will return to being a dominant force in LA. Still, if the Lakers's role-players don't play better, the Lakers will have to have extraordinary performances from Shaq & Kobe.

George is hurting the team & Phil knows it. He went with Kobe at SF with Fisher & Payton in the backcourt alot last night. George thinks he's better than he is.

Our 'center by committee' worked well last night. The key is to prevent Shaq from getting all the dunks he wants. If he's pressured physically, he isn't as effective. Expect him to run the floor a couple times in Game 3.

Speaking of Malone: Did his exit at the end of the game mean that he's gone for the next tilt in LA?

The League will review the incident and they will decide whether or not to suspend him. Like supersonic said, it was a cheap shot at a much smaller player but not suprising coming from Malone. He didn't deliver a blow to the head so my guess is the League will not suspend him.

all i have to say is Go Minne!!

I use to love Sam when he played in New Jersey...but then i grew to strongly dislike him...but after seeing him come in the game for a grand total of 43 seconds and come out of the game immediately IN PAIN...i really felt bad for Sam I Am....i hope he gets better fast
