www.nba.com/grizzlies They revealed the new logo and the new jerseys are soon to follow. What y'all think of it?
the logo looks damn ugly. the old look was more ferocious and intimidating. the new one is too simple and ugle. hopefully their new jerseys wont be ugly too. i dont understand y they needed a change. it was good before......
It's better IMO it dont look nice the old way those reminded me too much of the VANCOUVER grizzlies not the better MEMPHIS grizzlies.
Well... I don't think it's bad, but it'll definitely have to grow on me. I'm too used to seeing the other logo after three straight seasons of season tickets. This will definitely be a weird adjustment. Another thing that you may not think about at first is the floor. The floor will change, both in colors and also with the main logo. That will make the whole atmosphere of the "Fed Ex Forum" different from that of the Pyramid... nice move by them business wise I guess. I can't wait to see the jerseys.
Not bad, would have liked them to keep the red though, IMO the colours are too similar to Dallas, minus the green.
Wow, it looks really cool. It'll fit the coming of the new age, they're young and are gonna bring some seriously hardcore game to the league. It's only right that they get their own, since they and Brown turned this franchise around. It looks real badass and tough, just like the team itself.
This logo is pretty cool but I would like to see the new jerseys more as Im getting sick of their old jerseys. PS. This logo reminds me the Timberwolves' logo.
I don't like the logo. I thought the old logo was better. If the jerseys are nice, then its fine. I really liked the Grizzlies old jerseys. Maybe it will grow on me.

They're the new Pioneers for the franchise and so need a makeover, they're not who the Grizzlies use to be, now they're contenders.

From a marketing standpoint, I like the new logo. It's clean, simple and easy to replicate. The old logo was too "hokey" for my tastes. Some will say that it's more ferocious and intimidating than the new one, but I don't agree. I think the old logo was just plain lame and poorly done from the start. It smacked of a logo you'd see on a World League football team or something. The colors are horrible on the old ones also, so I hope they change the team jerseys as well to suit a more Memphis theme.
I don't like it because it just doesn't seem to intimidate IMO. Like the Timberwolves of yesteryear's logo. The Memphis Grizzlies looks likes he's going to have a bowel movement or tell me a long story. Like if the bear was looking over his shoulder at us, that would be eerie and cool. Just my opinion.

It seems to suit just that, it's dark, it's quite scary in terms of logo wise, but like many people said, it's not really all that cool. The new colors are great though, they'd give a much more "ice cold" feeling if you will.
the logo is kool with me but I liked the other one better. the teal/red/black/white in it. but yea I agree on that they should've kept the red. EDIT: Now I have to get a new logo after they unveil the jerseys and the palyers start taking pics with em on like Ricky D and Dajuan Wagner did after the season ended last year
I really don't know about this... I like that it's clean and simple, but it's face doesn't do it for me. Specifically, the nose. It looks like it's about to cry. Show some teeth, wrinkle the nose, a brow, anything. I don't like the colours, either. I mean, I wear almost exclusively greys and blues, but I don't think this is going to work. Not that I'm a huge fan of teal.
I'm glad they changed the colors cause the old ones were getting annoying. They reminded me of the old cavs jerseys. The new ones should be tight.
