Has anyone here on the Warriors board been to a Warrior game before?

I've been to a few in my day...3 to be exact

1 Was against the Lakers, and the other 2 were against my team the Kings

But the 3 times i went to the Oakland coliseum arena,i've rarely see any Fans of the Warriors there...mostly the game's contained Lakers,or Kings fans

I have been to about 8 to 10. Sac_King, the Kings and Lakers bring the most fans to the Arena. Usually it is about 50/50 when they match up against each other. We actually have great attendence for a team who hasn't been to the playoffs in a decade.

That's a good thing for the Warriors Franchise!!

The few times i've been to the Warriors games, esp the Lakers one..the arena was mostly packed by Laker Fans.i'm not saying that to be mean, but i'm just saying that's what i saw when i went to the game..but that was like a few years back...now it's probably diffrent, since i haven't been to a Warrior game since 2001!

I went to the Warriors/Kings game last year and it was pretty even. The Warriors were louder in the end since they won the game.[IMG]

Now they are at home watching the Lakers/Wolves play just as the Warriors are.:P

Yes. I've got on average of a couple times a year. The Warriors turned a corner the past couple of years and started to rebuild their fan base which deserted them after the move to SJ during the Arena renovation.

Yeah some attendees have those jerseys that they can flip inside out depending on which team's bandwagon they want to jump on. GS has some hardcore loyalists, but there are so many bandwagon fans that'll just root for whatever team in the state is winning at the moment. Or out of state as a matter of fact like all those damned Chicago Bulls Jerseys won by some bay area fools. It's cool to like Jordan but root for the home team or stick with a franchise rather than jump from the Bulls to the Lakers the minute they ain't winning championships. Sheesh. It's what I see now. All those guys that liked the Bulls growing up now like the Lakers and the Spurs.

I think Rudeezy means the warriors split the series. 2-2. The warriors ALMOST beat the Kings at Arco. Those two at Arco were really close games that could have gone either way until the Warriors had to intentionally foul.

I'm a big Kings and Warriors fan. It's annoying to find other Kings fans who wander around boards talking trash when it was just last week the Kings lost another game 7. The Kings have not won #$*! and their fans have no right to act so cocky. Don't expect the "Almighty Kings" to be around too long. They are clinging to that coach who acts like the nba is little league and are ready to ditch the best player in recent franchise history. The Warriors have a brighter future and that long winning streak Sac had over GS is waaaay over.

Yeah,i knew, but do you actually think as a Kings fan i'd wanna admit that.LOL :P

True, the Warriors held there ground against the Kings, and quite frankly did great job..now that the team is trying to suceed more with the moves they have done recently, this should be the norm hopefully from now on?

I have been fortunate enough to attend 2 Warrior games and enjoyed them very much. I saw the Rockets beat the Warriors in March of '02 and got to see Gilbert Arenas' return to Oakland in March.
