Ron Artest neither minced words nor made excuses.

"I'll take the blame for this game," he said. "I've just got to get back on the same page. I'm not on the same page right now as this team and the coach."

Artest missed 16-of-21 field goal attempts Monday night during the Indiana Pacers' 72-67 loss to Detroit in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference finals at Conseco Fieldhouse. The Pacers forward is 11-for-44 for the series, precisely 25 percent.

Artest is the Pacers' leading scorer in the postseason with a 20.6-point average, but he struggled for every one of his 13 points Monday. He struggled to find answers afterward.

"I forced a lot. I forced a whole bunch tonight just 'cause I'm out of rhythm," he said. "Where I'm used to getting the ball, I'm not really getting it right now and I'm not passing the ball much to my (teammates).</div>

No matter how much he raises his game, Hamilton will still rip him with his jumper, and the Pistons will still win the Eastern conference championship.

^Okay buddy. If you actually have been watching the games you would know that Artest has been guarding Prince, not Hamilton. Uncle Reg has been assigned to guard Rip.

And BTW, the Pacers will win the Easter conference Championship.

I think Artest took to many shots, but like Al said:"He just had a bad game. We all had a bad game," said forward Al Harrington, who went 0-for-4. "One man didn't lose this game for us. We lost by five points or whatever. I shot bad. I didn't even score tonight. We just played bad as a team."

I'm sure they find a way, to kill that slump they are on. Ill look forward to the next game, and hope they play good on both ends of the floor, like they did in the regular season.
