After Rasheeds comments, do you think that alot of other players will start to guarantee games. I hope not. Guarantees are such big deals among the media because they happen no rarely. Sometimes, you'll see one guarantee in a season. Rasheed's guarantee has gotten the most publicity of one in recent times, and I hope other players don't do the same, it has to be saved. Well I'm going to be tottaly hypocrtical of what I just said and Guaran-sheed a Pistons game 3 victory! Wait, I'm not a player, so it's all good.

Of course. The NBA needs to get more entertaining and wild. It's boring to see all game and no
    talk.

guranteeing a win is meaningless....what happened letting your actions speak for you?

playing hard and helping your team win is worth more than a stupid guarantee anyday.

He only garunteed it because of his lackluster performance in the first game

if you need to guarentee a win, then you must not have that much confidence that his team can come out and win without more motivation. what happened to being motivated enough by just being in the east.conf.finals? i didn't think detroit needed a guarentee to give them more motivation b/c they have a good enough team and it does put more pressure on your teammates to perform well and if you lose, which was possible in that game; then you look like a tool, your team will/could look bad and it would've given the pacers more of an edge b/c they would have the mentallity that even when a piston makes a guarentee, we can still win. good think pistons did win, but guarentees shouldn't be used unless if it is a game 7 or a superbowl game when it is a must win, if det went down 0-2, they still could win the series b/c you would think they would go back to indy 2-2.
