Let's put it this way. This guy will get chicks if he's rich and famous. And he'll probably get a lot of attention based on his background and sheer length.

It's all about the $Benjamins baby.
Hmm but it makes you wonder if having a certain arm length affects your shooting coordination? You know I'm not sure. You do have the advantage of shooting over a hand though. Anyway if we do get the Iranian dude the guy will have to bulk up so he can pound his way near the basket. And then he can possibly learn to skyhook shots downward so there is no chance of getting his shot blocked lest the other team get called for goal tending. We could be looking at a possible offensive weapon. But I doubt it. He's probably another Sean Bradley.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Hmm but it makes you wonder if having a certain arm length affects your shooting coordination? </div> Well, out of the extremes of extremely short or extremely long, I would think longer would be much better. The shooter would get used to it. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">He's probably another Sean Bradley.</div> Or Gheorghe Murhesan...
my eyes!! i'm blind!#$@...j/k I'm not that convinced about tall people who are just getting attention because they are tall. There hasn't been a decent player taller than 7'1 (ohter than Yao, who's an abnormality) in the NBA for a long time more often then not, they're stiffs who just hang around the basket to get an occasional block or two (ie. Muresan, Bradley)
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Or Gheorghe Murhesan... </div> murhesan actually wasn't that bad. he improved a lot in the later stages of his career, but injuries got him. i remember how stoked that guy used to get everytime he hit a free throw... and his snickers commercial.... "chicks dig it.... smells like..... CABBAGE!"
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting philsmith75:</div><div class="quote_post">Mark Eaton? Ralph Sampson?</div> Yup, Mark Eaton holds the single season record for total blocks and avg blocks per game. 5.6, and Ralph before the injuries a really good. A 7'4 small foward, amazing.
