I think Billy King will really be looking to shift things around in the team for next year. He's already said that Iverson will stay, but of course that isn't a guarantee. If he is to stay on the team, I think that the supporting cast will be radically different from the past years. (btw, i heard only Zendon Hamilton and Amal Mccaskill will be free agents next year - can anyone confirm this?) I have strong suspicion that Eric Snow will be gone, possibly along with Aaron Mckie. Derrick Coleman may be gone, and hopefully Glenn Robinson as well. Post your predictions here.
Derrick Coleman has been official noted by Billy as not being here next year. At a press conference; when asked about Derrick's future with the 76ers organization, he didn't deny any claims to his being traded, let go, etc. As for the others, by what they had shown throughout this season, I wouldn't mind seeing Glenn go. We cannot wait for guys to have an impact in the future, I don't care for his being hurt, or whatever. We need an impact from anyone that comes in right away. This 76ers team is in a process of rebuilding, some guys we know are glued in, such as Allen, Samuel, and Kenny. As for Eric, and Aaron... I think Eric contributed a lot to the team, and is a really underrated point guard. He has good floor vision, and his age isn't a big matter for us now. In my opinion, he has another good 4-5 years left in him. Aaron on the other hand is a cancer to the team I think. His injuries are really a problem for us, if not for that he could still come off the bench for a good 15 MPG. We all know what kind of effect he had a couple of season ago, sad to see that can't be said anymore. So, those three are the most obvious bigger minute players, that will get the boot in my opinion.
Coleman Snow Robinson all I think have the strong posibility of not being a Sixer next year, in that particular order...
Most definitley Coleman and McCaskill. Not so sure about Snow. As much as I want Eric Snow gone, I think he should stay. I think they will make a trade for Glenn.

But, I disagree with the fact that you said Aaron McKie is the cancer on the team. He's been injured prone all season, but once he got healthy, he stepped up his game. I think he was averaging somewhere between 15-20 PPG in Allen Iverson absence. So I would give him one more chance, and see how he does for the first half of the 04-05 Season.
ya mackaskill is defintely gone.but zendon hamilton man that guy hustles so much and he has so much energy.i think they shud sign him for like a one year contract. and eric snow should definitiely stay cuz hes the teams floor leader and wats so bad about him that everybody hates him, the only thing hes not good at is shooting which obviously hes gotta improve but which pg in the nba is perfect. kidd isnt good at shooting, bdiddy is not a smart player
I like Zendon he isnt an offensive threat ,but thats ok.He can rebound and he hustles he is sort of like a garbage player, he will get you a couple offensive boards and a couple of put backs, as well as defensive rebounds and toughness.I think we should give him like a two year contract.
The 76ers should show the door to Snow, Coleman, and Robinson. I'm so sick of Snow lame outside jumpers and sick of Coleman's twinkie-eatin lazy behind. All Coleman wants to do is sip on mix-drinks in Glam's VIP lounge every night of the season.
i dont see how yall say..that snow and mckie should be gone...mckie has always been great for us...i cant see him leaving unless we get someone very good (ex:Ben Gordan)...and snow he is our clutch man...and he is the leader when iverson is out..so i say that Z.Hamilton and D. Coleman...will be gone next year.
Colmen will be gone imo and so will mkie although I love his style of play I believe mckie will be gone for the simpl fact that I think if he is not taken in the expansion draft he will be traded for a high energy player like possible a jerome williams or someone from the wiz might come to philly possible people that have been ehre before like larry hughs or mabye stackhouse if he is not taken in the draft those two are long shots but that they will get a high enegery player or a swing man I believe that also I believe that glenn robinson will be gone he did nothing for us at all.
No need to get feisty. He said: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I highly doubt it. A.I. can't carry this team by himself</div> But on a more serious note, I still think he can carry the team. I don't think he can carry the 76ers the way he did back in 2001. But with more help from the other players, I think he can quite possibly do a repeat of 2001.
I think that philly will have a different line up this season. they will try to get jameer nelson and start him at PG and try to get rid of eric snow. AI will start at SG glen robinson at SF kenny thomas at PF and sammy at C.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting lil nba:</div><div class="quote_post"> I think that philly will have a different line up this season. they will try to get jameer nelson and start him at PG and try to get rid of eric snow. AI will start at SG glen robinson at SF kenny thomas at PF and sammy at C.</div> A backcourt that consists of two guards that are not even 6-Feet wouldn’t work. And the Billy King and Jim O'Brien stated that they have no interest in drafting Jameer Nelson. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">...and snow he is our clutch man...</div> You must be kidding. Eric Snow clutch? That's like getting the colors black and what confused. Jacking up a half-court shot with 15 seconds remaining on the shot clock isn’t clutch my friend, it’s called nervousness.
I hope DC isn't there next year. He is getting old, he is injuried every year, and plus I just don't like him. I hope snow is there next year [/QUOTE] You must be kidding. Eric Snow clutch? That's like getting the colors black and what confused. Jacking up a half-court shot with 15 seconds remaining on the shot clock isn’t clutch my friend, it’s called nervousness. ARE you joking have you watched any Sixers games? If it's not Allen hitting a clutch shot its Snow. He always hits clutch shots every year
DC for sure, mixed feelings about Snow, like him, his D, his effort. But geez a guard with no offense? I mean come on, I'd rather have Mobley instead. DC, no need to say, laziest, worst player I've ever seen. Looks like he tries to be bad, possibly a worse version of Walker, NVE, KVH and partially Francis. Because of his terrible decision making, occasional laziness and of course, what they all have, crap shot selection.
I agree with everyone else. DC is pretty much out. He just isnt the same anymore. His injuries are catching up to him and hes gonna have to retire soon. Everyone is hoping Glenn Robinson is gone but after his terrible season, what team will want him. I also like Snow's effort but I believe we could get a better SG for him and Big Dogg and then move AI to the point. Who we could get for those two guys.....I dunno but I think if we can have a oure SG along with AI,Iguodala,Dalembert, and Thomas... We wil be back into the playoffs.
This isn't the BEST idea considering how AI is used to being a 2 but maybe, just maybe this COULD work out. I'm only posting this for feedback, my buddy suggested this and I wanted to know what you guys think about this starting five. C: Samuel Dalembert PF: Kenny Thomas SF: Andre Iguodala SG: Willie Green PG: Allen Iverson Eh, its alright to me except I don't see Iverson going back to PG again, I'm not saying he isn't capable of playing PG again, but I don't think he would want to.
