There was good debate about the Laker Flags people put on their cars. One side of the debate claimed these fans were the typical bandwagon fans, who only started putting them up after the Lakers beat the Spurs and cleared the path to another title. What are your opinions on the stereotype Laker fans have to deal with and your opinions on the bandwagon fans who give us a bad rap?

I really am one who doesn't care much about having bandwagon fans or not. I'm a big time Laker fan, but it really doesn't matter to me if other guys are bandwagon fans because I really just don't give a damn about them. I love talking Lakers with my friends who actually know who Jamaal Sampson is, and have been fans for years.

As for bandwagon fans giving Laker fans a bad name I guess that could be said, but then every great team has its share of bandwagoners. Look at the Bulls throughout the Jordan years, you think they were all fans before they started winning championships? don't think so. So to sum it up I guess you could say they are giving Laker fans a bad rep because they're always hopping on and off depending on if they're winning or not, but it really doesn't matter. As long as you know you're a true Laker fan and support your team through it's highs and lows that's all that matters IMO.

Well I can see it from both ways. I would not be a Wizard fan if I didnt move to VA. THey dont get public attention, so losing teams arent recognized a lot. When they start winning people start paying attention. Some Band-wagoners can get really annoying though. I am ok with them atleast as long as tehy tell the truth.

I'm fine with fans that support the team and know what's going on. It pains me so much when I hear, "is Michael Jordan still playing for the Lakers this year?"

Or like after Fisher's game-winner, "calm down, Mel, it's just a game..."

Yeah I hate when people tell me its just a game. It is my damn team I am watching and it was one of the greatest shots I have ever seen, let me celebrate.
