It is generally not polite to post links on other forums. Simply tell your friends to come talk here, or, if you are going to a game, maybe make a banner for that game. You never know when something will get on tv.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (nflfan04)</div><div class='quotemain'>well hey, we t 2 bears fans here and ya dobt here eme complaining</div> That is because bears fans are enjoyable and fun to be around. There are like 10 eagles fans and 9 out of 10 of them think every player on thier team is the Best player at his position.
Like a business, controlled growth is the key to quality. If you want volume, there are plenty of other sites available. Read them for awhile and it should be clear why some people would like this forum quality vs quantity. I would like more topics too, but more people doesn't guaranteed more good topics.
We are actually getting a pretty steady pace of new members, they just aren't posting. One thing to do if you want more members is to go out of your way to welcome them when they join. At the bottom of the main page of the site there is a stat that says who the latest member to join is. You can then click on a link to their profile and send them either a private message or an e-mail. I will look into other ways that we can get new members. I too would like to have more members, as long as it doesn't hurt the conversation. I have been impressed with how well this group of people is able to not get into discussions that hurt the forums. I would take that over 2000 members any day.
