<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chicago Tribune: Sam Smith of the Chicago Tribune urges the Bulls to trade the number 3 pick they received in last night's Draft lottery. Since this is widely considered to be a two-player Draft, getting the third pick leaves the Bulls out in the cold. After Emeka Okafor and Dwight Howard, there?s not good enough. All the Bulls really were given is the chance to take a risk on somebody like Duke freshman Luol Deng. He?s got ability but is not enough of an upgrade. ?He's not a slasher to beat someone off the dribble, a requirement for the pro game,? Smith writes. ?Is he better than Mike Dunleavy? Probably not. Wally Szczerbiak? Probably not yet. Though Deng looks like he would do well over time, could he use a teammate who can be double-teamed? Sure.? The Bulls need somebody ready to contribute minutes and quality, like Wally Szczerbiak, Antawn Jamison, Shane Battier, Al Harrington or Shareef Abdur-Rahim. Smith also discusses the possibility of trading No. 3 for a player and a lower pick, and sizes up some sleepers in the Draft. </div> Read The Rest
I think Luol Deng will be a great player. I think there are a lot of players in this draft who can be good, if not great players: Josh Smith, JR Smith, Ben Gordon, Shaun Livingston, Jameer Nelson, and others. I think they Luol Deng can do the Bulls a lot of good, but with the players out there on the trading block, trading the pick for some players could really help them too.
Chicago: Please just trade the pick so we don't have to spend more time talking about the draft picks you've screwed up recently.
Actually, If I were the Bulls, I wouldn't trade the 3rd pick. Orlando will pick Emeka Okafor, and the The Clipjoint will pick A PG, meaning Howard won't be picked in the first to selections. Clipjoint will pick Livingston leaving Howard easy picking for the Bulls. Good Luck In 2004-05
Luol Deng would be the perfect fit for us. He wont be a star right away but in a year or two he could be something special. He would be a role player this season and then could soon be a star. Our future looks bright and if we get Deng it will just improve us. Folks with this years draft the #3 pick aint gonna be worth much. Thats why we mgith as well take Deng..Hes bound to turn out pretty good...
Hey you never know the last time we had #3 pick was THE GREATEST PLAYER EVER MJ i'm not say'n Deng is going to be like Mike but he can help this team the same way Mike did.

One trade that has been mentioned is Ray Allen and the #12 from Seattle, for Antonio davis, Eddy Curry and the #3.
No i don't think that is going to happend maybe Chandler but not Curry and that sounds like a pretty good trade to me
