now with byron scott becoming the NO Hornets head coach as many of you have heard already, do you think that NO/NJ will work out a trade? there are players in NJ that did like byron and vice versa. this could be a way to get rid of players we dont want, but players that byron liked enough to bring over to NO and the western conference. guys like kerry or debo. the hornets could use more size and rodney does have size and kerry does play good defense still. so maybe there is something to be worked out.

anybody have any thoughts of a possibly NO-NJ tade?

Talks about a Mashburn-Kittles trade with some throw-ins are all around. There's a great probability of this happening.

hopefully debo is one of those throw-ins. we need to then get a new sg, either from NO or FA or another trade. i wonder if rod would consider giving the starting job to brandon. if he gets good amount of minutes, he can probably be productive. he has a nice nice looking shot, just doesnt make enough. i know lu has nice #'s when he starts, but i wouldnt be suprised if rod thought about it so save more money. or make lu starter and brandon #2. i dont think it should happen, but i wouldnt be suprised if it happened.

Well this trade would work under the cap..

Nets trade Kerry Kittles & 2nd round Pick this year or a future 1st round Pick

for Hornets Jamaal Mashburn & Steve Smith

im still not really sold on mash. i know all the talent he has and everything he can offer to us, be he isnt a lock. the injuries he has still bother me to the degree that im not confident in taking him on my team. we've had our fair share of bad moves which we are still paying for and i dont want mash to be added to that list. if something comes out that says he will be 100% and is guarenteed to play and everything else to give me confidence in his health, then i would love to take him. but if we get him, then that sar trade idea wont happen. so out of mash trade idea and sar trade idea, i'd take portlands offer.

IDK, Maybe K-MART will go to the Hornets considering that he's a free agent.

Actually, he was one of the Players that questioned B.Scott's decision making last year during the Finals(it just didnt get out in the public like J.Kidd did). He wanted Dekembe to play more to help him down low with Duncan & Robinson, so Iam not for sure how much faith Kenyon has in B.Scott as a coach

well kmart wont be able to just go anywhere this summer, he is restricted. he won't ask for a trade to NO this summer 1- b/c byron is coach, 2-if he wants to go to a west team, he would go to a contending west team, maybe like dallas. if he doesnt sign a contract this season and just plays off his contract next yr, then he can walk to anywhere he wants, but we all know he is stayin in jersey.
