<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Once again, Garnett was asked to do almost everything.

Play the point, set the pick. Initiate the offense and finish it. Play just about every minute as if it's your last.

From start to finish Garnett gave it his all. But now the Wolves head home for Game 5 down 3-1, knowing the Lakers have won 11 consecutive closeout games since 2000.

"I just feel so bad, just feel bad," Wolves guard Darrick Martin said. "He went out there and laied it on the line. All of us want to win, so bad. But Kevin? You can see it, he plays with so much passion."

He played so much, too. He was officially given credit for playing 47 of 48 minutes. Actually he played 47:29. He was taken out of the game late in the third period by coach Flip Saunders, but he didn't want to leave, and that led to words being exchanged in front of the Wolves bench.

"I was a little tired, but I didn't want to come out of the game," Garnett said. "But it's Flip's show; I'm just a part of the act, so to speak. He makes the calls and I have to respect that."

"Sure," he said. "Shaq got 19 rebounds, I should have helped block him out more. There were a couple loose balls on the floor I could have gotten to. I'm sure there is something I could have done, should have done. You have to be real with yourself. I feel I could have done more."</div>

Garnett played like an MVP, and one player, no matter how good they are, is going to beat a team like the Lakers by themselves.

Poor guy. The man hustles. That's how he got MVP. HE loves the game. He doesn't play for the money or to show off he plays because he loves the game. I wish you and the Wolves the best of luck KG.

Of course, Garnett's everything isn't enough, because it was always the Lakers line-up plus the 3 referees. Now that's way too much for him.

All everybody talked about this season was how much help KG had. And then one major injury & it seems like all that help goes away. I feel bad for KG, Sam etc, the season wasnt surpose to end like this, but its not over yet they have 4 more quarters to lay everything on the line & see what happens. And if they survive that, then that gives them 4 more. Thats the way them cats have to look at the situation, they cant be defeated before the game even starts on Sat or they will get blown out on their home court

The t-wolves knew there was an inherant risk with getting Sprewell and Cassell at this point of their careers. Having your second two best players with a combined age of 67, it was only a matter of time before injuries caught up to them. Unfortunately, it's at the worst time possible

KG will give everything and I mean EVERYTHING this game , he knows what this is .. 30pts , 18rebs , 7assists trust me.

I just love how KG blocks the shots after the whistle , they said that on TV I tought they were never going to say it , I wish I could go to the NBA to do the same thing lol I think that's just so powereful it really let's the other players know you are there and you are a nobody every second counts.

I think they are going to win tonight , and be so inspired that they will win a REALLY CLOSE game in LA then come and try to win in game 7 but lose.
