not sure how many of you listen to the jim rome show, but i turned it on this morning only to hear skip bayless (the fill-in host for rome for friday may 28)... anyways, this bum had the audacity to say KG is a coward for not retaliating against peeler. He was talking about how when your manhood is challenged, you have to retaliate. How stupid is that comment? I think, and i think 98% of everyone who knows how important that decision was, he made the right choice by not fighting back. What makes matters worse is that he made it a double standard but not taking up Charles Barkley's challenge to fight him in a celebrity boxing match. The best part of the show was when the "Clones" emailed in and started bashing on bayless. Anyways, this guy then went on to say KG is only able to do what he does because of his size, but he doesn't have what it takes to carry a team... and how he doesn't make his teammates better. This comment is so stupid, as without KG, wally sczerbiak probably would not have been an all-star a few years ago, and sam cassell made his first all-star playing alongside KG this year. and he went on to say if he was garnetts size, he would be getting near triple doubles every night as well. Well, there are alot of players his size who can't do half the things KG does. lastly, he was also talking about how his "war" remarks of game 7 of the sac series just goes to show how he talks bigger than he plays... Being the HUGE KG fan that I am, hearing this made me want to bash my radio in. This guy must have forgotten that KG came out that game and just laid it all out on the line, scoring 32, grabbing 21 boards, and blocking 5 shots... then he said KG talked a big game going in to game 4 of the lakers series, but didnt follow through. as i recall, KG came through, he came up big, but his teammates didn't follow... is this really KGs fault? Anyways, this is just a rant, cuz i hate it when people say KG doesnt have what it takes, and this just made it worse because he went on for over an hour bashing my favorite player.... I never knew him and barkley had a feud going, but i really hope barkley sees him on the street one day and wraps his fist around bayless' face.
not even worth the rant.. this guy has not a clue of KG's capabilities, i think the total OPPOSITE of what skip bayless (never even heard of him) said of KG, and im sure the majority of bball heads know what the deal is.. hes prob just trying to bump his ratings. respect kg.

Kevin Garnett is the most incredible physical specimen basketball (perhaps sports in general) has ever seen.
i was more pissed off about the whole thing because he kept going back to how KG was a coward for not retaliating on peeler... it might not sound that bad here, but if you had to heard it you would probably be pretty ticked off, as i am. People kept emailing in and saying how KG did the right thing by not throwing a punch back, yet he kept insisiting KG was a wuss, and that he's not aggessive enough or what not. One guy even called in and talked about how danny ferry punched jordan in the eye one time, and jordan put up his dukes, and then let them down... and bayless pretty much called the guy a liar after he hung up on him. I've heard of this guy a few times, but never heard of any of his work, but after hearing him once, i could never respect this guys work EVER. IMO, KG is the most phenomenal talent in the nba.

I did hear Barkley say his name one time but really didn't pay much attention about this guy.
