You mean "My attitude doesnt count enough."

Try a nice grammar school. I think with your ability to express and comprehend the english language, perhaps your vote counts for too much. There shoud be a test to be able to vote, that way morons cant vote.

in looking at the website where the facts from the top of the post originated, i noticed that the iq's were determined by taking SAT/ACT scores and adjusting them accordingly...that info can be found here...

    http://chrisevans3d.com/files/iq.htm

i noticed that the south made up a large portion of the lower end of the scale, and the north/northeast made a large portion of the upper end of the scale...just for the sake of making sure all the facts are had, consider this...in the south, ALL high schoolers take the SAT/ACT tests...in northern states, the typical student that takes the SAT/ACT test are only those wanting to get into college...that is going to skew the numbers quite a bit and tip the scales in favor of the potential college crowd only...that is why the south always ends up at the bottom of the nations "education scoreboard", so to speak...therefore, i don't think that any correlation could accurately be made regarding iq and voting habits...also, if you look at the county by county map of the election (found here http://www.usatoday.com/news/politicselect...4/countymap.htm
) you will notice that it is typically around large metropolitan areas that Kerry won...that is why Kerry won the states he did, in most cases...it was a matter of urbanites voting the opposite way of rural and smalltown residents...

There is a great book that everyone should read...its called "Lying with statistics". You'll learn very quickly not to trust someone's politically motivated statistic.

As far as the map is concerned, I sure hope no one actually took it seriously. Correlations such as that one rarely prove anything of substance.
