I was offended, how dare they show that on TV. I was completely outraged. How could they do that? What can you expect from network TV. If you are going to show a hot woman in a towel, they damn well better show her out of the towel. Instead they implied her out of the towel, the nerve.
Nice skit involving the hypocrite who claims to be very spiritual. But just like he always does T.O. will blame ABC!
I'd turned on the game just in time to see it. It made me ill & I went back to watching Raw. I lost a lot of respect for McNabb. Terrell be better be prepared; Karma is loading up to dish out to this ass clown what he so richly deserves & I hope I'm around to see it. If not, I'm sure I'll see the highlights.
I didn't see the "skit" w/ the actress but I have a feeling I'm glad I did not. I was referring to the one after the first one after the iggles went up 7-0 where he & McNabb were lamely mocking last week.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Philly_Freak93)</div><div class='quotemain'>...like TO says hes just a target from the media</div> TO would NOT be such a target if he did not paint the bullseye on himself and then point it out for the whole world to see.
I don't have a problem with TO for doing the skit with Nicolette. I do have a problem with ABC airing it so I have to explain it (or politically side-step it) to my 8 year old son. As for the McNabb/Owens thing, I have no problem with it if they would have done it when it was 49-21. It would have been both clever and making-their-own-fun. But doing it when it is 7-0 just adds to their charm, or lack thereof.
Why do i have a feeling that if TO was not an eagle the 2 Eagles fans would be singing a different tune
I saw the entire spot last night on SportsCenter. I really don't see why everyone is flipping out. If it were shown in Europe, she would have been completely naked and no one would have batted an eyelash. This country needs to lighten up, apparently.
I saw the spot today on SportsCenter. Why am I not surprised that TO is in the center of this controversy? For today's set of television standards, I was a bit surprised to see the spot, but not too much. I don't like to compare our morality to that of Europe's either. I just think it was a bad move on TO's part.
I think it's inappropriate for the very reason that Cowboy71 mentioned; his 8 year old son. I know that I was watching football at that age. I would like to be able to let my kids (should I ever have any) watch football when they're young. I understand that different people have different senseabilities, MNF wasn't the time or place for that type of skit.
I tend to agree with DolfanDale on that one. If parents knew that they could expect MNF to display something like that, then they could keep their kids from seeing it. However, I think it is good to encourage kids to watch football. As such, I don't think that skit was appropriate. On a side note, I too would have much rather had Terri Hatcher...
I think its clear that ABC doesnt give a rats ass about younger viewers....if they did, they wouldnt be smut-mongers who start their broadcast so late that no kids can see it all....they care about one thing and thats money, they wanted to provoke people to watch their other programing and they dont really care what the eventual toll on society is....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>I was offended that it was not teri hatcher, or eva longoria in the towel, they are much hotter.</div> I agree. Teri & Eva are much hotter. The real ironic thing about ABC showing this & potentially corrupting kids is they (if memory serves) are owned by Disney.
