Here's a question for all of us Kings Fans From what i've gathered from the past couple of days here,it seems some of us have been critical of how the Kings organzation is...I Figure,if anyone of us had the Oppturnity to run the franchise,what would we do? So Come on,please give your 2 cents on how you'd run the Kings franchise? And...Don't be shy now?
1) Sign Divac to a 2 year deal, start Miller at center. 2) Figure out the impossible in bringing quality defense to the team (impossible due to salary restrictions...would prolly have to clear the bench to do it with exception of songaila and Jackson) 3) Give Songaila more minutes off the bench 4) Draft one of these 7'2"+ Centers and see if the gamble pays off for it. 5) Take a look at the FA market this off season to see if any blockbuster deals can be made. then go from there.....
1) Keep Divac around for another year or two. 2) Try to keep Bobby Jackson at the end of next year. 3) Move Vlade to the bench behind Milller. 4) Rotate 4 players through the PF/C positions (Miller,Webber start. Divac, Songalia off bench). 5) Find a way to keep the squad healthy for an entire season and playoff run!
Number one, I would look for some players who can play some defense. Maybe sign Anthony Peeler to a two year deal and give B Jax a contract extension. Explore the market for a power forward of equal or more value than Webber. Sign Divac to a two year deal.
I Only Have 4 things that i would do to make the Kings A Better Team 1)-Divac would get a 2 or 3 year Extension 2)-Either/And/Or All 3-Draft Defensive,Sign Free Agent Defensive,or Trade For Defensive Players,which the Kings NEED BADLY 3)-Let More Younger Players Play than they have had in the past..in my opinon,the younger guys are the future of the Kings,so let them have their turn 4)-Make Sure That Bibby and Peja stick around for a long time..i'd like to sign them to a long term deal which would make them Kings for life,because in my opinion,these are the 2 players that are going to determine the future of the Kings That's pretty much all i wanted to say bout this Thanks for everyone who put their 2 cents in!!...much props go to you all :mrgreen:

The Bulls have the 3rd pick, and when they trade it to the Kings in your trade it still is a 3rd pick. So IMO there is no way they can get Okafor, Howard is a possibilty though. Trading Bibby away is stupid IMO, even for the 3rd pick and Pargo, Bibby is the the best point guard on their team meaning a 6th man like Jackson would have to run the show more often, I dont like that. I would let the young players like Songalia and Wallace play more if I were the Kings, I see great potential in them.

I'm sorry fellow fans of the Kings, but at the end of the day no matter how much I love the Kings I got to return to my roots, the Windy City, so the trades were to make the Bulls better, the Kings became young kind of except Divac of course...
I don't know who I'd try to get for you exactly. Just that they'd have to meet certain criteria. Bibby and Christie are good players yes, but those two are very vital scoring and creation positions, therefore I'd try to get people more talented in that aspect. I'd never get rid of Divac for now, his flopping, passing, veterancy are great for the team. I still would rather get someone more dominant though yes. You need Webber gone sadly, you need people in at least the top 5 class for PF next season if you're gonna get anywhere. Meaning you need the likes of K-Mart and Brand. Although lots of your players showed great D, you need better. I feel Barry might defend better than Bibby, Christie would be hard to top, he is one hell of a defender. But you need someone who can score a lot more than he does, but I have no one in mind....
