Right now he looks to be in the 18-25 range. However he is starting a serious of workouts in which he will be competing with Jameer Nelson and that will give everyone a very good idea of where he stands. In my opinion, I think people will realize that while Telfair is a good prospect, his poor size and rawish game would be far better off as a two-year college player. Even a one and done would be better. Right now he is over hyped. If he didn't play in NYC and if the media and fans hadn't fallen in love with hime and put him on magazine covers he would be a borderline 1st round pick. The problem is that he will need at least 1 season, if not 2 or 3 to contribute and first round picks can only be signed for 3, meaning a team may spend 3 years developing him only to see him leave for greener pastures and play like an all-star for some other team. If Nelson out plays him in work outs, his stock will drop dramatically.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting KingCarmelo:</div><div class="quote_post">The cavs have shown intrest in him...</div> Thats why they wont take him. It would be a dumb pick for them anyways in that spot. He's way too raw, the Cavs need help right away......or at least in 2 years. I really see him falling to late first round.
I think He will go to the Cavs. They have shown interest, and I think their franchise player wants him, and he should get what he wants, I dont care if he is 19.

Two very talented High Schoolers who would start their careers together, and possibly dominate in the future. Obviously we've all seen what LeBron can do, and Telfair is loaded with talent as well. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cavs drafted him, although I would really like to see the Clippers get him the most. EDIT: actually scratch that, I didn't know the Cavs were going to draft as high as the 10th spot. I can't see Telfair being drafted that high, and I don't think even the Cavs are willing to take him that high.
There are 2 players that the Cavs have shown interest in...Childess and Telfair as far as I know. I think if Childress is gone when they pick, I think they could possibly trade down to get Telfair. I think Bron has a lot to do with this draft pick, I think he will tell them who he wants/what position he wants drafted and they will choose the best player, Devin Harris, Shaun Livingston, and Ben Gordon could all be gone by then. Telfair is their next best option and Bron and him are good friends.
